Family-friendly holiday rentals in Schiefling am See

The house was beautifully appointed and included everything we needed. It felt luxurious but comfortable and we would all definitely come back and recommend to others. It was a great location with a short walk to the lake and into town. Thank you Jus for a wonderful stay!

Vilma personally welcomed us at her accommodation. The property is virtually an addition to its own house. But you don't actually notice anything about it. There is a private parking space, private access a separate stairwell, etc. She showed us all herself and was really very warm and accommodating. The place was really great too. Stolvizza itself is also well suited to starting hikes there, as it is surrounded by many mountains. We only spent one night there as we were also passing through. But our stay at Vilma was still a great experience. We will be happy to come back!

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and has really everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. Brilliant stay Apartment is spotless with 2 bed rooms. - One bed room with large bed - 2nd bedroom with 2 si gle beds Well equipped kitchen with everything you would need to cook and eat. Peaceful location with 15 min walk away from Bled beach/rowing facility. Host is excited and welcoming with superb local recommendations. Additionally very responsive and clear on messages.

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. Apartment is really cool and in a quiet location. It is easy to walk to the lake and also Bled. The provided parking spaces are a cool amenity.

Very beautiful house in the mountains.

My aunt and I loved staying at Majda's place! The bed and couch were very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly on the one hot night we had. Her place is well stocked with thoughtful touches such as coffee, books, and laundry detergent. Additionally, the location is perfect. 8-15 mins away from everything in old town, but in a quiet cluster of houses. Highly recommend this place!

It's a really good place to stay near the Lake Bled in a quiet area with beautiful view around.

Nice little apartment, ideal for couples. Everything was perfect, but the shower is only for one person and there is no microwave. But the place is even great. (Entering is super easy)

We were very warmly welcomed by Natalija's husband, he explained everything to us and gave us tips for excursions and restaurants. We also met Natalia in the evening, she is also very warm. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults and 3 children, it is very spacious, including the bathroom. Everything you need is available, the apartment is very clean tidy. Natalja and her husband even put some snacks in the fridge and candy for the kids. The apartment is perfectly located if you want to go to Slovenia, for example, to Lake Bled or Jasna or are on the way to Croatia and Co (near Karavanke Tunnel or Wurzenpass). We were very, very happy in this apartment and will definitely stop by again on our next trip to Slovenia. Thanks very much, Hannah and family

The place was homey, comfortable, well equipped, and clean. The property is situated in a relatively quiet neighbourhood and within reach of numerous Slovenian highlights by car. The host was also accommodating to our needs, especially since we travelled with a toddler. We highly recommend this place! We consider staying here again the next time we visit Slovenia!

After a little struggle with finding the place, not really the fault of the host's directions, the reward was enormous. not a big space but the views were astonishing. The space was adequate, with functional kitchen and amenities and beautifully presented, but it was the outside which makes this place amazing. We didn't want to leave and neither will you.

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Robert is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He shared many helpful tips with us while we were there! We rented bikes from him to go to bled and bike around the lake.

Dear Ulrike and dear Christian, we felt very comfortable in your apartment, your tips for excursions, sights and restaurants were very helpful. The lakeside resort, supermarket, restaurants and many excursion destinations were very easy to reach by bike and not far away. Your warmth and hospitality was lovely. Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help.
