I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house near the lake! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the middle of nature, providing a sense of peace and tranquility that far exceeded my expectations. The photos on Airbnb don't do justice to how calm and beautiful this place truly is. The host (spencer) was exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring that everything was in perfect order for our stay. We faced no issues at all, and every little detail was taken care of, making our experience completely stress-free. If you're looking for a serene getaway, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This house is in the perfect location to get into town as well as driving to the local hiking trail and tours! The house has a slight smoke smell if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, but it was certainly tolerable. Host was very helpful with all questions that I had and we had a great stay!

Loved the stay! Neighborhood was nice and peaceful. neighbors were friendly and sociable. Within minutes of arriving we walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed viewing the shrine. The fishing was great, we caught tons of perch, walleye, and some northerns. Caitlin was extremely great to communicate with. All the details she provided to every question was very much appreciated.

Kendra is the best airbnb host we’ve had, very helpful with instructions and quick to answer any questions we had, we loved the space and the cabin feeling it had, the views were great! it’s a very good location for snowmobiling, I also really liked how the cabin was decorated, thank you for hosting us!

Great place! We stayed for a snowmobile trip and the cabin is easy to reach the trails from. Super clean cabin and lots of parking for trucks & trailers. We will be back.

Centrally located in the UP it was a great place to stay while hitting the best to see in the upper peninsula! About an hour’s drive or less from everything we wanted to see! Easy to book, easy to find, absolutely zero problems with this rental, hoping to stay again this fall if available

Hide Away UP North was so relaxing. Furniture was super comfortable. The bed was soft, but not too soft, and we both got great sleep. There are a great variety of sites to go check out. The lighthouse just south of the house was awesome. Also went to Oswald's Bear Ranch then drove up to see/touch Lake Superior. Great views of Lake Michigan all around by the house. We absolutely loved it. Ben was a fabulous host and very attentive!

This cabin was such a great find! The campground was small, with a very clean and accessible bathhouse. The cabin itself was very clean with fun bald eagle decorations. I would absolutely stay here again!

Staying at this Airbnb was a truly special and memorable experience. Even though it was an RV, it had all the amenities of a regular home, making it feel incredibly cozy and comfortable. Todd and Jackie were among the best hosts we've ever had—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring. Since the RV didn’t have a keypad lock, they personally waited for us to arrive for check-in. I accidentally mixed up the time zones and arrived much later than expected, but Jackie patiently waited until 1 a.m. to welcome us. One evening, we mentioned needing wood for a campfire, and when we returned from our day out, Todd had already lit one for us. We ended up sitting around the fire under a sky full of stars—it was such a magical moment that it truly became a core memory for us. When our furnace stopped working during the night due to an empty propane tank, Todd came by first thing in the morning to check on us and make sure everything was okay. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The H58 house was a perfect spot for our family vacation! Its location allowed us a spot to rest and rejuvenate between hikes — a must with small kiddos and a puppy! It was ideal to have a washer and dryer as well a kitchen to make meals. We had a blast exploring the UP!

The RV was extremely nice and clean! Way bigger than I anticipated, the pictures don’t do it justice. Great place to stay if you’re visiting pictured rocks!

We loved our Michigan cabin! It felt like a little home home away from home, with everything we needed- even the wood for the fire pit. Our hosts were very kind & helpful; they even gave us a lot of ideas of fun things to do while we were there. We had a fun & relaxing trip in the UP with their help 😃

What a treat to stumble upon Hovey Bear Trap cottages for the first part of our U.P. vacation. Not only was it affordable, but it had everything imaginable for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything, including condiments. The game room was loved by the teen boys, as well as the available kayaks. Our little daughter especially enjoyed the beach. With it being the first week of June, we felt like we had the entire beach and campfire areas to ourselves. Angie was always quick to answer any questions and was a lifesaver when our son required aloe vera gel after getting a terrible sunburn. We enjoyed hearing the history of the cottages as we chatted one night with her by the fire and Angie kindly ended the evening by offering our daughter a ride on the golf cart (now dubbed Ruby) up to our cottage. Thank you, Angie and J.D., for a wonderful stay!

We had a girl's trip with my friends and Jared's place was a perfect accommodation for us. Starting from the location, the house, furniture and the kitchen. The vibe was just right! We felt right at home. This beautiful place is close to Pictured Rocks and other attractions Michigan has to offer.

This is such a hidden gem! The house is clean, the beach feels completely private, and there is so much to see within driving distance. We had a great time and plan to come back!

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

Great place. Everything is as described. This was my first real cabin. Everything about the Airbnb was as expected. The only 2 negatives I have are that It’s loud on the bottom floor when people are walking around on 2nd floor. But again that’s probably more on me not being very familiar with cabins than anything else. The only other negative I can say is host has a VERY STRICT cancellation policy so be sure you and your group can make it before booking. Overall still a 5 star Airbnb.

Stunning AirB&B! If you're looking for pet-friendly properties, look no-further. Our pups got a 2nd lease on life with the ability to run on the beach, swim in the lake, and be truly free for a change! We were originally a little sad that early June is still quite chilly on the UP and wouldn't be doing much swimming (in the gorgeous Lake Michigan) but all sadness was eradicated when we figured out it was still perfect conditions to make use of the hot tub and sun loungers anyway! While we did trek into town for groceries and a visit to the State Park, we could hardly pull ourselves away from the beach house to do so. Kitchen was wonderfully equipped, an EV charger was a welcome bonus, and the downstairs bedroom was dark & quiet, just how we like it on vacation! The house and beach are nicely secluded but we did have some passers-by from the neighborhood, who were very friendly/just enjoying a beach walk. We used the kayaks one day and that was a lot of fun. Will be back!!
