The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Riding stable 100 m (riding lessons can be arranged), shopping 500 m, Sebnitz city center 3 km, Dresden 50 km. Bikers welcome.
