Our vacation apartment THE APARTMENT Without Benedikt Kappenstein, Hof Erlenbruch would not exist in its current form. The guest room in the old haystack was awakened from its slumber and, after more than a year of renovation, was transformed by hand into a vacation home/apartment. The character of the old haystack was partially retained. Thus a piece of luxury was created in the Wildenburger Land on Hof Erlenbruch away from the urban hustle and bustle. The only people who live on Hof Erlenbruch are Benedikt Kappenstein, who manages the farm, his life partner Michael Noiron and their son. There are no cars around the farm and no traffic noise, as the access road ends in the courtyard. There is no Internet connection, as this cannot be provided by the providers and even cell phone reception is not possible on every corner. There is no everyday stress and no noise here. Here you only hear the rustling and cracking of the trees when the wind blows and the occasional howling of a fox. Here you can determine your daily rhythm in harmony with nature. Simply let yourself be carried away into the boundless forest landscapes of mountain and valley of the Wildenburger Land and discover our historic landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our apartment, which invites you to relax. The nearest neighbors are about 800 meters away, here you will experience pure secluded idyll! And if you should be drawn to more populated areas, you can cycle directly out of the courtyard exit and reach the nearest main road after just 2.6 km. A unique mixture of rustic farm and classics in a modern style await our guests in our newly designed apartment. An impressive mix with stylish interiors, modern design and traditional materials, which Benedikt Kappenstein and Michael Noiron have adapted to the style. A copper-colored bathtub next to the Jailhouse Bed by Noodles Noodles on the gallery, cozy wooden elements, fireplace and a completely new interior ensure the perfect feel-good atmosphere. Through the large windows you have a view of the surrounding landscape and our alpacas. The bathroom was also completely renovated in 2017 and remains true to the style of the apartment with a mixture of classics and wooden elements. A small kitchenette allows you to cater for yourself if you do not want to visit one of the culinary restaurants in the area. BOOKING You have the option to book the apartment for two or a maximum of four people. On the gallery there is a bed for two people. Below is the distinctive Moule sofa, with a transformation comfort with rotating seats and flexible backrests, which can not only be used as a seat and relaxation furniture, but can also be transformed into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps.

Vacation home surrounded by nature

Enjoy peace and comfort in the modern vacation home on the edge of the forest of Beringhausen in Sauerland! The light-flooded living area on the ground floor offers a glass front with panoramic views and a cozy fireplace. Upstairs there is a bedroom with meadow view, a sleeping alcove for 2 people and a bathroom with bathtub. Outside, the terrace, trampoline and swing invite you to relax. Children can feed our chickens, and depending on availability, there are fresh eggs. The Hennesee is nearby!

Old School Deifeld 10-12 people "Slate House"

Luxurious, modern vacation home, completely renovated in the former caretaker's house of the "Alte Schule Deifeld". In the spacious modern kitchen is a long dining table for 12 people and a separate living room with access to balcony and garden. All rooms have comfortable beds, there is a bathroom with sauna for 2 people. The house is located on the outskirts of the village and is a great base for hiking, biking, skiing and all the other beautiful things the Sauerland has to offer.

Dream house with a courtyard in the middle of Butzbach

On my parents' property, next to our house, there is a beautiful two-room apartment with a separate entrance. Our guests can feel comfortable in the approximately 50 square meters. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and both a living room and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed (55 x 79 inches / 1.40 x 2 meters). In the living room, a sofa bed offers enough space for two more people. There is also a courtyard with plenty of seating for shared use.

In our vacation home you will find everything you need for a wellness vacation or a short stay with a relaxing character. It has a "little kitchen" with dining table, ceramic stovetop, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. In its oriental cuddly corner in the living room, you will find a cozy sofa, as well as a flat screen. There is also a corner bathtub in the bathroom. To linger outdoors, our seating invites you right outside the door, or in the house's garden.

We offer 3 parking spaces for overnight stays with a motorhome. If campers are there, they will also use the bathroom. Only for guests who love nature and a camping atmosphere! Feel free to bring your dog and/or horse. The open stable is next door.
