Holiday rentals with lake access in Silicon Valley

We loved staying at Corria's place. It’s a quiet ground-floor unit at the rear of a multi-unit property. The backyard is beautifully lined with rosebushes and overlooks the water, perfect for relaxing lunches (patio furniture available). It’s a quick drive to Park St & Webster St restaurants, Safeway, and the ferry - I commuted to SF by ferry 2 separate days, and it was beautiful! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there’s plenty of bedroom storage - we fully unpacked for our 1-week stay. I worked remotely from the dining table all week, and the wifi worked great. Corria was responsive and easy to communicate with, quickly helping with a couple of small needs. Some notes: - One bedroom has lower ceilings - better for kids or shorter folks. - Not wheelchair accessible: uphill driveway, then stone steps down to the unit (well lit at night). - There’s an old dock out back - it’s a bit rickety, so be cautious and watch kids. All in all, great location & highly recommended!

Kim's place perfectly fit are needs! Lots of room to spread out., we hosted a small group of family to organize for a celebration of life from the mother. Everything was very serein and peaceful. Kitchen was extremely well equipped!! Outdoor space magical!! We would love to book again.

The host was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Check-in was very easy and checklist for checking out was outlined nicely. The house had plenty of room for our family of four and everyone their own space. Very quiet area.

The home was very clean and comfortable. It is close to Lake Merritt and other local attractions. It’s on a quiet street with nice plantings.

Sonny was incredibly communicative and thoughtful throughout the entire reservation process. You can tell he really wants your group to have a great stay. We loved our time at his home and look forward to coming back.

Belinda's place was worthy of all of the 5 stars I just submitted. We were entirely pleased with all aspects of her home and our stay. If it matters to future travelers, there are 45 steps from the sidewalk to the front door. We managed these steps, but there is no getting around them.

Toni was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! Their spot is such a home away from home. We had everything we needed! We traveled with our two year old son and their backyard was an amazing spot for him to get outside and get the wiggles out! The walkability was a huge draw for us and it was so nice to have so much nearby. Golden Gate Park was a quick walk and there was so much to explore! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Great place in a beautiful neighborhood. Just what we wanted. Among other things, the kitchen was great and well-supplied, including coffee, fruit, bottled water, and a bottle of wine! We felt very welcome and will certainly try to rent it again when we're back in Oakland.

I've stayed at LaurieAnn's several times and this continues to be my first choice whenever I'm in the Bay Area. LaurieAnn was very responsive to all my needs, as always. Perfect for a mobile single senior traveler. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous space! Felt like a 5 star hotel tucked away in this airbnb. The location is in a lovely residential part of the lake that is quieter and still walking distance to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and central heart of Lake Merritt. The cleanliness of this place is top tier and loved the sweet note, gifted snacks/water, and all the personal “you may need” amenities provided in the bathroom too. Alisa is so helpful, kind, & clear with communication. So grateful to have stayed in your jewel of a sunshine home. The design is a mix of modern, retro vibes & everyone about this space is top tier. I had a truly lovely and seamless stay at this Airbnb. My family and I stayed here for 8 nights while celebrating my graduation from UC Berkeley, and it was the perfect home base. The check-in process was smooth and convenient, everything was handled through an app that also gave us access to the building’s many amenities. The apartment itself was spotless and had clearly been cleaned right before our arrival. I barely had to contact the host because everything was so well-prepared, but when I did, she was responsive, kind, and understanding. The location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown Oakland. It's just a short walk to the BART station, making it easy to get anywhere in the Bay Area, and the AC Transit bus stop is only two streets away. Being in the city center also made us feel safe and connected to everything we needed. If you're looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Oakland, I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Perfect place for a visit for a wedding. Lots of walkable access to stores and restaurants and lake Merritt. Hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Apartment was clean and well furnished with many of the comforts of home including a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and snacks. Adequate space for two and pet friendly. Great location, walkable to restaurants, Trader Joe's, banks, and movie theater. Adequate dining and work space. Quiet neighborhood. Host Claudia, was friendly, welcoming and accessible. Would definitely book again!
