In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with a private entrance. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. It is possible to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but can be rented for 150kr/set. Cleaning is not included in the listing.

On the ground floor there is a bedroom with tiled stove, a fully equipped spacious rural kitchen and toilet room with washing machine. Upstairs there is a TV room, a second bedroom as well as a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The cottage has a patio facing the yard as well as a south-facing terrace with great views of the water. Bed linens and towels and cleaning upon departure are included in the price.

On the lower floor a very small kitchen as well as dining area with room for four and a fireplace. On the upper floor there are two walled single beds as well as a 140 cm wide sofa bed. It is about 5 km to Tällberg and 7 km to Leksand. There is space to park a car next to the shelter in the yard. Shower and toilet have a separate entrance downstairs. Cleaning is not included.

Shop, kiosk, and church within walking distance. 20 minutes car ride to Leksand and 45 minutes to Mora. This is a unique accommodation, perfect for those who want to enjoy nature and relax. The cottage is adjacent to our holiday home and has its own parking. A few minutes walk for swimming in Siljan.

Bo i en liten timmerstuga på vår gård! I en högt belägen lantlig dalaby, med hästar, höns, katter och hundar om knuten, ligger vår lilla gård. 1965 byggdes en liten stuga åt ägarens dotter Astrid, för att hon skulle kunna komma på besök. Astrid blev snart ägare av hela gården, och stugan kom inte att användas särskilt mycket. Fram tills nu!

We had a very nice time in the accommodation. The hut is very nicely located with great views of the river and forest. The hot tub and sauna are clearly a highlight. The location is private and undisturbed. Unfortunately, no wardrobes were available. As mentioned earlier, the water has a slight odor, color and taste. That's why we preferred bottled water. Tobias and Nick provided detailed and helpful information and responded quickly and reliably to any questions. We were happy to be their guests.

We had an amazing time. Martin and Camilla are fantastic hosts, super friendly, helpful, and gave us lots of greats tips. The place is cosy, spotless, and has everything you'd need, even if you're staying a while. We especially loved the terrace, perfect for a BBQ, with a nice view of the really awesome horse and pony. Privacy is excellent, you really feel like you have your own space. The gym and store are both just a short walk away, which was incredibly convenient. It's also a great area for evening walks. We also got to use the bikes and canoe, which was a big bonus, we had some great adventures with those. Spring is a great time to be in the area too, its nice and quiet and there is a lot you can do. Getting to interact with the animals was a highlight for us. Martin and Camilla are also really interesting, kind people. We genuinely felt sad to leave and wished we could've stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
