If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. Of course families with kids and/or pets are welcome too. Free parking for 1 car and WiFi is included.

The Rurtal barrier, the Vennbahn cycle path and the Eifel National Park Nature Reserve are only a few miles away. Both the Netherlands and Belgium can be reached quickly due to the location in the triangle. The city of Aachen with its sights is about 30 min (car) away. All shopping facilities can be easily reached in 5 min (car).
