Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Skiathos

Die Gastgeber Frau Maria und Herr Dimitris waren zu jeder Zeit sehr hilfsbereit. Sie waren überaus freundlich und höflich. Dimitris hat mich am Anreisetag von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt. In der Wohnung wartete Maria mit einem tollen Kuchen. Dazu stellte sie mir eine Tüte mit grichischem Mocka-Kaffe zur Verfügung. Damit konnte ich jeden Tag meinen Kaffe selber machen. Die Wohnung ist 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Sie ist gut ausgestatet. Supermarkt und Tavernen schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Gastgeber gaben mir gute Tips für Ausflüge. Am Abreisetag sorgte Herr Dimitris fafür, dass ich vom Taxi rechtzeitig abgeholt werde. Ich habe hier meinen 5-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und dafür bin ich den Gastgebern sehr dankbar!

Lovely studio. Amazing surrounding area. The host was very helpful and answered questions as well as gave us recommendations in the information packet in the studio. The place was very clean. The host was very welcoming at check in and very easy to contact.

Our stay at Eleni’s beautiful Greek house was nothing short of magical. One of the highlights was her generosity in supplying fresh vegetables, eggs & olive oil all from her property. We were treated to several delicious authentic local dishes which reflected the region’s rich culinary traditions, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The house itself was a stunning example of authentic Greek architecture, with charming details that gave it a unique character. The view was breathtaking—panoramic scenes of the sparkling sea and distant islands. Whether enjoying a meal on the terrace or relaxing with a glass of wine, the landscape made every moment special. This stay was more than just a vacation; it felt like an immersion into Greek culture, thanks to the host’s warmth and hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic & unforgettable experience! The booking process, communication & checkin were seamless. Thanks Manolis & Chris!

Lena was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Even though Lena was unable to check us in herself, she had her mom meet us and show us the apartment. The entire experience was easy and comfortable. They went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I felt right at home. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We had a very good stay at Steve and Fiona’s place. They were kind, helpful, and flexible, especially with the check-in process, which made everything much easier. They even waited for us after our flight to personally show us the way to the accommodation, which we really appreciated. The place was clean and just as described. Future guests should note that parking isn’t right at the property because of the steep, rocky road, so there’s a short walk involved. That said, Steve and Fiona kindly helped us with our luggage. The location has lovely views, and the neighborhood is quite peaceful, with just the occasional sound of a barking dog. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience.

I can definitely recommend this location. It was clean, private, calm, on the countryside and had almost everything you need (kitchen, WiFi, terrace, barbecue place, lemons and grapes on the trees in the garden). Maria is changing the sheets once a week and is cleaning up twice a week. You should only be aware of animal noises (roosters, sheep, dogs, pheasants...) :-) - but this is charming! The next very nice beach and the bus station are about 20 min. by foot, I can recommend a vehicle to go to more far away beaches etc. Maria and her daughter are very friendly and helpful, communication was uncomplicated. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

An absolutely beautiful stay! This AirBnB exceeded all of our expectations. From the hosts communication, kindness and hospitality right down to the view - everything was beyond perfect. My partner and I will remember this holiday and accommodation as one of our best, and we plan on revisiting in the years to come.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Alexandros war super freundlich, immer gut erreichbar und hat uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Das Apartment hat eine tolle Terrasse und in der Nebensaison ist es hier herrlich ruhig. Gerne wieder!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Denis for his incredibly warm and hospitable welcome! From the very beginning of our stay, he was attentive to all our needs. Denis kindly give us beach towels with umbrella and snorkeling masks, and provided us with great recommendations about the city – from the best restaurants to visit, to beautiful beaches and other attractions. He constantly checked in to make sure we were doing well. As for the apartment, it was spotless and perfectly located right near the main street, with a charming and cozy inner courtyard. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable and comfortable!

The studio apartment is located in a secluded and quiet spot among the trees. It's in a beautiful building and it's a 7 minute drive to the centre of Skopelos. It has an amazing beach only a 5 minute drive from there. Everything was clean and tidy and the host was super responsive. Only a couple of things were odd but they didn't lessen our experience. Even though there's a box for the key, we met with Rania's sister to guide us to the place which was a sweet, but unnecessary touch. During the check out instructions they asked us to remove all the rubbish ourselves, and then to also place all our towels in a box. I found it weird that there's a cleaning fee but we still had to remove the trash ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay in Skiathos! The host was fantastic — very welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The apartment, a cosy basement space, was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed. The real highlight was the stunning garden overlooking the Aegean Sea — absolutely breathtaking and the perfect place to relax. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. 5 stars!

Rania and the accomodation is a true hidden gem. Never on Airbnb have we had such a welcoming, friendly and generous hosts, just like we’ve never seen an apartment looking so clean and well taken care of, including the amazing garden. Whenever we needed help, instructions or even food, Rania was always there to assist us with a smile on her face and as she says- it was her pleasure. She even gave us homemade food, fruit&vegetables from her garden and fresh water. However keep in mind the apartment is quite far from the main road so we definitely recommend renting a car or a motorcycle, the path is well accessible for good drivers. The surroundings are very quiet and there is a lot of options if you want to sit in the garden or sunbathe. We do want to recommend Rania’s accommodation to anyone considering it, as it truly was a perfect experience and felt more like visiting our own family in the countryside. It definitely was not our last stay. Thank you Rania!

Das Apartment ist wunderschön und ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hat uns vom Fährhafen abgeholt um uns zur Unterkunft zu fahren. Er ist jederzeit zu erreichen bei Fragen. Die Wohnung wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist einmalig und nicht zu übertreffen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, alles war perfekt!

We had the best stay at Maria & Konstantinos studio. Everything we could have needed was provided including tooth brushes, shampoo, body gel, body lotion and Nespresso pods among others. We enjoyed having an espresso outside on the patio in the mornings. The complimentary wine and crochet greek eye was appreciated too! We really appreciated Maria’s quick responses, as well as restaurant and activity recommendations. We would highly recommend doing a boat tour to Lalaria Beach and Skopelos and another day to Tsourgia island - absolutely stunning views with the bluest water and vibrant greenery. You can take a water taxi to Tsourgia at the port. Koukanaries beach is also a must! Our check out went especially smooth as well as Maria helped set up a taxi for us to the airport. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the northern beaches of the island, but we hope to return again one day. If this suite is still available we would highly recommend booking. Lovely and clean apartment. The host and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful especially when the taxi dropped us at the wrong location, even picking us up in their own car. Easy to access the property once inside and walking distance from the beach and town.

The accommodation is absolutely amazing! In the perfect location right in the town with a view of the beautiful garden and ocean. The host Magda is so sweet and responsive! Skopelos is so beautiful and we were so thankful to have Magda as a host! Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment has the perfect location at the heart of busy Skiathos Town with great views of the harbour. It's just a short walk to any of the restaurants, bars, shops, taxis and bus. We instantly felt at home and loved the simple, greek inspired interior design. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. The bathroom is fresh and clean with a great shower! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Machi est d'une grande gentillesse et possède un super sens de l'hospitalité. L'appartement est hyper propre, elle passe tous les jours, il est également très bien situé dans une ruelle calme et paisible. Nous recommandons vivement de passer du temps chez elle, et nous reviendrons avec plaisir et sans aucune hesitation.

Was für ein Glück, in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft 6 Nächte verbringen zu dürfen. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und der Ausblick unbeschreiblich. Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl und zuhause gefühlt. Der Strand ist nur über einen kurzen Trampelpfad zu erreichen und man wird vom Paradies empfangen. Es gibt drei Tavernen, einen Mini-Markt, einen tollen Imbiss - alles fussläufig erreichbar! Das beste, wenn man mehr sehen möchte, kann man für 3,-€ Busgebühr die Insel erkunden, die Station Nr. 21 ist nur 100 m von der Unterkunft entfernt. Ich wurde darüberhinaus so herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet, ich würde deshalb immer wieder dorthin reisen! Herzlichen Dank - auch für die wunderbare Sonnenaufgänge!

Wished we had met her. Her father met us at the property and explained all we needed to know. Maria answered texts very quickly if we had a question. She came halfway through our stay to clean the property and change the bed linen, and left some of her mother’s home grown fruit. Lovely gesture. My only negative was the bed comfort, however, when is any bed better than your own?

Martin und Lisa sind ein sehr liebes, sympathisches Ehepaar. Sehr humorvoll und wenn man Fragen hat, helfen sie gerne weiter. Leider hatten wir nach vier Tagen einen Motorrad Unfall und mussten den Urlaub abbrechen. Martin und Lisa haben uns so toll geholfen, wir alle waren sehr traurig. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Es wäre ein so schöner Urlaub geworden, das Apartment liegt wunderschön in der Natur, sehr ruhig, super entspannt und entschleunigend. Für Ruhe suchende eine wirklich sehr angenehme Lokation mit einem tollen Besitzerpaar. Liebe Lisa, lieber Martin, nochmals vielen Dank für alles.

Ospitalità, gentilezza e disponibilita! La mamma ed il papà di Marina sono stati molto cortesi e sempre sorridenti. L’appartamento è uguale alle foto, accogliente e spazioso per 2 persone, non mancava nulla. Fantastico fare la colazione sul terrazzino vista mare! La fermata del bus è la n. 9 e si trova proprio difronte alla villa, il bus fa 28 fermate, si riescono a raggiungere le spiagge più belle, ma la spiaggia difronte alla villa è a 5 minuti a piedi. La villa è in una pozione eccellente per visitare le numerose spiagge nei dintorni e si trova a 10 minuti di bus dal porto di Skiathos. Noi abbiamo preferito noleggiare uno scooter che ci ha dato una grande libertà di spostamento e nel giardino della villa c’è un comodo parcheggio. Vacanza perfetta! Don't let the pictures mislead you - the place is actually more beautiful than it seems! The house is super comfortable and provides a overwhelming view to the city. The host is extremely welcoming and supportive. It was a cute haven for my trip in Skopelos.
