House holiday rentals in Solana Beach

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our stay here was incredible!! Craig and Julie were wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and had great communication before and during our trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We felt right at home and hope to make it back here someday!

I absolutely loved this place. There is so much to do within the home. The backyard is an amazing space with a pool/jacuzzi/ water slide, grill with fire pit, and yard games to include mini golf and ax throwing. The indoor space is equally amazing with a huge kitchen with everything you need , 2 lounging areas with TV’s, an Atari arcade game where you can relive your 80’s childhood and play pac- man and frogger. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean. The views from the home are beautiful, you can even see the ocean. My daughters live in San Diego and we live in Orange County so this was the perfect in between. It is close enough to the beach but far enough away that you don’t have to contend with beach traffic. It is also close to stores and restaurants but the house was so entertaining, we just stayed there all weekend, it was just perfect.

What an incredible place to call home for a few days. This place had everything we needed to cook for our family, the pool and spa were amazing, and had some great hang out spaces for the family. Trevor and Heidi were quick to respond if we needed anything!

Martha's cottage is perfect location to the beach, restaurants, shops and Del Mar fairgrounds (horse arena). It was easy to get to and the directions were very clear. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay.

Great place to find peace and walk to the beach in a place that seems like you’d have to drive. Turns out you can walk straight to the beach with your board. Jason was insanely chill and helpful. He was just walking his dog and took me on a great walk, guiding me on how to get straight to my favorite beach and back. Never had a host who gladly helped me like that. Comfy bed and pillows too.

Brian’s place was a wonderful and serene getaway, walking distance to the beach and with lots of cute restaurants around. We would absolutely stay again!

House was cute, comfy, & quaint. We felt right at home & you can’t beat the view and patio space. Wish the chimnea was not cracked so we could safely use it, but overall we did not want to leave & that’s all that matters. The surrounding town gave a small town Oceanside vibe with lots of fun & shopping to do. Can’t wait to return to Encinitas someday. Service from host was lovely and very responsive. They really considered everything before and while we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Staying at Fortuna Farm Ranch was truly a magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by stunning views of rolling hills, lush greenery, and the calming sounds of nature all around us. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. What made our stay even more special was the incredible hospitality of the host. He brought us the most delicious fresh fruits grown right on his farm—. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and grounded in nature, but Fortuna Farm Ranch does exactly that. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect, or just soak in some beautiful scenery, this place is a hidden gem in Encinitas. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed this stay! The home is less than a mile from the Del Mar fairgrounds. Plenty of parking in a safe neighborhood. The rooms and restrooms are both downstairs. The host is responds in less than 30 minutes and helped with any questions I had. A few spices, cooking ingredients and oven trays available. The backyard is a plus! Thank you

What a magical gem this place is! Everything in the house is perfectly appointed - same goes for the front patio which is such a lovely place to start the day with a cup of coffee just listening to the birds. The kitchen, the kitchen! It’s out of a magazine. Well actually, it was IN a magazine! If you’re doing remote work while you’re there and the kitchen is in the background of your zoom I guarantee you everyone on your calls will immediately ask “where are you?!?!?!” bc it’s so perfect it looks like a zoom background that you choose of some place you could never actually live in bc it’s to perfect to exist :) The hosts were amazingly responsive and kind. Highly recommend this gem!

Kim’s place was exactly like the pictures and described perfectly. The surrounding area was quiet and the space private and clean. I would recommend this stay for its proximity to the beach, its clean and organized interior, and the amenities including the pool. Kim’s instructions and recommendations were helpful and appreciated. My wife and I would stay again.

Drakes place is AMAZING! It was a home away from home. We had 3 toddlers (1, 2, 4) with us, they played in the backyard and it was completely safe for them. All of our needs were met down to an extra crib. He is super laid back and very accommodating, I noticed this from our first interaction. I encourage you to BOOK RIGHT NOW, you will be pleased. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. My family loved it and we would definitely book here again.

This house was as charming as the pictures suggested. Very private, lovely decor, comfy beds and furniture. The garden was a pleasant surprise and all enclosed which was helpful with dogs. Walk to the village or the beach in 10- 15 min. We would love to stay again. Recommend ear plugs if you go to bed on the early side because the trains run nearby past 11 pm.

Laura provided detailed instructions regarding check in. She was also very responsive to our request for additional washcloths, and delivered them promptly. The place was very clean and quiet, which was appreciated. The location is good as a home base, but a car is needed for transportation to the surrounding areas of interest. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was immaculately clean and we immediately felt at home due to the many thoughtful touches. The hosts were incredibly considerate and really helped ensure we had the best stay, going above and beyond to accommodate our young family! The kitchen is a chef’s dream and the yard a spot of paradise. We couldn’t recommend this home enough. It was absolutely fantastic! We hope to come back someday soon!

We had an excellent stay here. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as described. The little clubhouse was such a fun hangout for the kids. The pool and hot tub were clean and so refreshing after a long day in the sun. Anjali was extremely responsive to our questions and was able to help us in every situation. We felt extremely safe and enjoyed the quaint coastal neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here.
