Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. dry cabin. No running water or bathroom in cabin but a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared fire pit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Please register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

Alden's Vacation Rental is located on Scout Lake Road in Sterling Alaska. We are in the heart of the best fishing in AK. King, Sockeye, Silver & Pink Salmon. There is also excellent Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden Trout. The world famous Kenai River is just a mile away. This is a very peaceful area with lots of privacy. The Moose River is also only a mile away. The famous Swanson River canoe trails are just down the road. There is a local Pizzeria, restaurants and local taverns with live music.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil Kenai getaway! This One Room Cozy Cabin has a Queen loft bed, a private covered porch, blackout shades, small table/2 chairs and mini fridge. This year round heated cabin (no water in cabin) has use of a separate building called Basecamp which has 7 bathrooms, free laundry facilities, a double kitchen, fireplace, and plenty of seating. Peaceful and secluded, far enough away from town that it is quiet, but close enough for supplies, dining etc. We loved staying at this cabin, very cozy, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds and couch was very comfortable. We would absolutely book this stay again!

This was the coolest place we stayed during our AK trip! Kristin was an incredibly kind host and her place was so charming and peaceful. The view of the lake was spectacular and felt very secluded—like our own little lake house. The place was also very unique; we really felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house close to fishing with stunning views. Only thing that would have topped this is if we would have gotten some northern lights. Lots of space, and amenities, bbq, tons of spices (which was great since we had none), very comfortable stay that felt like home. Hated leaving.

Sue and Mike are very friendly and accommodating! The house is modern, clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The hosts have it well stocked and have thought of everything to make it feel homey. The pictures don’t do it justice! Fishing on the Kenai was a blast. Most of us caught our limit daily. Would definitely go back!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your amazing home, Sue and Mike!

We were in Sterling for four days fishing sockeyes in the Kenai. David’s place was exactly as described and worked perfectly for us. David was very responsive and extremely accommodating for us. The cabin was bright, beautiful, clean and well equipped. On our next we will absolutely stay here again!
