Double ensuite bedroom. Work space and wifi. Small self catering kitchen with small fridge/ freezer, microwave, single radiant hob, kettle, washing machine and toaster. Dishes, cutlery and basics, like cereal, milk, o j, butter, bread, tea and coffee supplied to start you off. Separate access from main house. 30 minute drive to Glasgow and 20 minutes Ayrshire coast. We have free range Ducks & Chicken and we are surrounded by Highland Cows, Sheep, Horses, Rabbits, Pheasants and other amazing wildlife. A Golf Course, Curling Rinks are minutes away, deep in the idyllic countryside but only 15 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport. Relax, explore and enjoy The Wee Firs.

Enjoy a relaxing get away in our spectacular snugs. These are the perfect way for a couple days with a partner or friend. Enjoy local walks or visit the historic town of Linlithgow. Located high up in the hillside enjoy stunning views over West Lothian. Tea and coffee facilities are provided along with a microwave. All our snugs have underfloor heating and generous en-suite bathroom with full size shower. Guests are more than welcome to bring food/takeaways into the snugs.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.
