Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk, you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities. Beach Resort Makkum is vacationing at a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

Our house on the Koggeplaet in Elahuizen has a beautiful unobstructed view over de Fluessen, with a lake terrace. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and a sheltered seating area! Our house is in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A beautiful place for boating, swimming, cycling, hiking or skating! Golf course and forest are close by! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our guesthouse is located in the back of our green garden in the center of Makkum near the famous Tichelaar Pothuis. Through our alley there is a private access to our yard and the guest house with terrace. The guesthouse is comfortably furnished with a Swiss Sense double bed (210x160cm), a pantry with 2-burner induction and mini fridge for easy dishes, a luxury bathroom with rainfall shower, a sitting area and a dining area.

The ideal family place for (young) families!

Great and spacious chalet (40m2) furnished for families of up to 3 kids. We are a family of 4 (girl of 6 and 4 years old) who likes to share their lovely quiet place with other young families and/or couples. The grounds where the chalet is located, the Koggeplaet is a nice and small-scale park whose marina is located directly on the largest lakes of Friesland: the Fluessen and the Heegermeer. Around the park itself, it is also possible to rent a boat or sup, for example

Aldehoeve-logies: Apartment Ien for max. 6 people

Aldehoeve is a characteristic Frisian farm from 1860, just a 5-minute walk from the old city center of Workum and close to the IJsselmeer. The farm has three spacious apartments: Aldehoeve Ien, Twa and Trije. Ien is very spacious with a surface of over 200 m² and can accommodate 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped large kitchen. The kitchen gives access to the large terrace, where you can eat/BBQ outside at your own private terrace.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!

The Boothuis is located directly on open water and is newly 2022 modernly furnished for a pleasant stay and equipped with all facilities. Here you can walk and cycle along the water or through the woods. Museum or shopping, this is already 3 km away. It is also possible to rent a fishing boat/sloop/sup/sailboat/bicycles/a charging station for charging the car/hottube.
