Beautiful spacious and special place to stay. We had a lovely lunch and drink on the terrace on the water. The boat is a great luxury, we have been sailing twice at the end of the day. The beautiful weather makes it even nicer. Contact with the owners was very pleasant and quick. Definitely recommended if you are looking for space, peace and privacy.

We were thrilled with the place, Lots of equipment for kitchen, hygiene and pastime! (Books, DVDS real.) Very cozy furniture and cozy atmosphere as described. If you have any questions, Raoul will respond quickly!

The place was excellent. It was even better than described and can't be captured in photos. It was all bigger than it appears in the photos. The entire houseboat was clean and well equipped. Garbage disposal takes some getting used to - but this is also complaining to a high standard and feasible. The hostess was always available, accommodating and very nice. Would recommend this place anytime.

A stay with Irene and Ted is balm for the soul: great hosts, great accommodation, exciting surroundings for cyclists, canoeists, swimmers and nature lovers. We were there for the second time and hopefully not the last. Once again, wonderful holidays.

We had a lovely stay in Raoul and Hester's place. The ark is moored in a quiet side channel of the Ijssel and therefore in extremely calm waters (no bow waves of passing craft). Many ducks, geese, swans and loads of other birds around enjoying the tranquil surroundings, as we did. Despite the out-of-the-way location, it's only a 10min stroll to Kampen - cross the bridge and you're basically right in the heart of the old city. Couple of decent eateries and pubs in a small area. The ark itelf is a little dated but well equipped and feels very homely. If you're going in winter, bring some wood to get that wood stove going and it'll be quite comfy in no-time. Everything works, nice double bed and good shower. Communication with Raoul and his parents-in-law excellent. Can't recommend enough if you're after some peace and tranquility.

My partner and I had the MOST WONDERFUL stay at Walter and Annemarie’s place, alongside with their lovely two cats. The location was idillic set in a quaint village. We wanted to escape the busy city of London to relax and enjoy nature and we got exactly that. Walter also prepared the rowing boat for us to use. We both worked during our stay. The Internet was great for my work, and I had a lot of calls. The work station by the window was ideal - best view ever. My partner went into Amsterdam a few times, the bus was very on time and convenient. We had everything we needed during the week stay. We cooked a lot. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots & pans, crockery etc. The supermarket is just 10 mins walk away which was fantastic. We were able to do a load of laundry,too. I could go forever.. it was just phenomenal, and how Airbnb was originally intended for. We didn’t want to leave. Will definitely come back again.

Absolutely brilliant houseboat. Super nicely decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a sup, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person but the communication with them was excellent. We would love to come again.

Wonderful stay at houseboat De Bintang! Beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. The houseboat is pretty much brand new, super clean and very cute. It has a huge couch for lounging, comfy beds and another seating area on the roof with great views. There is a restaurant right next door with a decent menu. Boat rentals are right next door as well. Watch boats go by all day, rent a boat and explore the many waterways and relax on the lake! Overall it was a top tier experience with a very friendly and helpful host to make our stay amazing.

The place was very clean and equipped with everything you need. You don't need to bring anything. Everything is there. Check-in was completely hassle-free because Patrick the manager was easily accessible, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time very much and would come back again. A little tip to all anglers. The houseboat and the associated boat are immaculately clean and modern and sufficiently equipped. It's enough to do it all: from kitchen utensils (there are even thermal cups and boarders) to a Bluetooth speaker and (our highlight! ) an infrared lamp for the frozen. On the roof terrace you can end the days nicely.

Our stay at the boathouse in Lemmer was just amazing! The location right on the water was fantastic, and the house itself was perfectly equipped – there was nothing missing. Particularly noteworthy is the incredibly friendly host, who warmly welcomed us and made our stay an unforgettable experience. We felt comfortable from the beginning and were able to enjoy the week to the fullest. Everything was perfectly organized, clean and cozy. We highly recommend this special experience and would be happy to come back!

All around it was a great stay for everyone. We will remember the place.

Very cozy houseboat with extensive amenities, uncomplicated use of a skiff to explore the beautiful lake area. Very nice hosts. Town with shopping and some restaurants a few km away. A wonderful short break.

Beautiful residential location. On the water. Accommodation neat and clean. Fully equipped. Fishing from the garden and in the harbor. Sloop rented in the harbor on the advice of the host, perfectly arranged and also very friendly there. Flexible in arrival and departure times. Thoughtful. Very nice.

Reinoud's place is a nice retreat to unwind for a weekend! Very nice environment, idyllic marina in front of the house, equipment absolutely sufficient (great that not only a few counted dishes were available), Wi-Fi stable, beds comfortable. We had a really good time!

Had a great time in Akkrum, very nice unique place, everything clean, well maintained and tidy! The next time is already booked.

Wonderful weekend spent on the Karma. Recommended. Clean and a very nice location to be. The stove did not work properly, (flame kept going out) but after some perseverance and sliding with the pits, it worked fine. We also missed a cheese slicer and some dish soap. That was the only thing, otherwise excellent. There were fresh eggs ready at hatching, clean bedding and towels. Totally super. 😊

What a nice cozy place on the waterfront! It looks super nice inside, neat, tidy and clean. The terrace was lovely in the afternoon in the sun! Within a 10-minute walk you are in the city center so that was also great.
