It was a great stay in a very nice AirBnB! It’s spacious, has a nice view with a nice bbq opportunity. The surrounding has lots to do and everything was walkable. Our group had a blast. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Benjamin is a great host, we received a great introduction into the history of the place. The appartment is very nice, clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Also Benjamin was very helpful and attentive, he gave good recommendations for a boat rental. Fantastic base to explore the Frisian lakes by boat.

The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. Good stuff, everything clean and fresh. Beautiful light apartment. Host Jurgen is great! Super friendly, quickly accessible and flexible. Highly recommended.

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: magnificent! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with attention to detail. But the location is unbeatable! Directly on the Sneeker Meer, at the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. It is just 15-20 minutes by bike to Sneek itself.

We were completely satisfied and felt welcome 🤗 The location is perfect, in the center and yet very quiet. We recommend this accommodation 🤩

Had a very nice stay. Everything present and good communication.

Great place with very good amenities. There was nothing missing. The kitchen was superbly stocked. Washing machine, dryer and other things also available for a longer stay. The outdoor facilities are excellently maintained and invite you to linger. The only drawback is the lack of sun protection on the two bedroom windows. As a result, the rooms heat up a lot when the sun is shining continuously and can only be cooled with difficulty by the window, which can only be partially opened. This problem does not exist for the living room due to the existing awning. We felt very comfortable.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay, the house was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and the surroundings were just amazing and quiet. Beds were very comfortable and everything felt clean. A great plus to have 2 toilets with a group of 8. Our kids enjoyed the place too and especially the space to run around the house and in the high grass. The lake was not even 1min away and one can access with a boat, swim from there (ladder) or just enjoy the sunset. Finally the village, with 2 restaurants, very tasty eel/fish seller and a a grocery store, was very cute and at a walking distance. Plenty to explore around!

We stayed in their lovely home with your two kids, we didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely and the home is spacious, clean and well kept. We used the bikes once to go shopping for a few little items when we didn't feel like taking the car and played some midget golf with the kids. We had a lovely stay.

We were personally welcomed by our nice hostess Anke and we enjoyed our stay very much. The great big kitchen , the beautiful outdoor area and the many different rooms were perfect for our large group. The location is great, right on the canal and everything is within walking distance. Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back.

What a wonderful place! The house is spacious and light. Nice living room with spacious dining table. We enjoyed the sunny terrace by the water. Everything in the house is available for a comfortable stay. Nothing was missing. Dishwasher blocks, towels, made beds, coffee cups, everything was there. Children could subboard from home (sub brought by themselves). We rented a sloop in the area. We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

The stay was planned for a two- or three-day sailing trip. Unfortunately, it rained a lot, but we felt very comfortable in the house. The landlord's description was consistent and helpful. Everything was great. Kind regards,

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. Very nice accommodation. It was amazingly clean and it smelled good. Internet speed is ~200 Mbits, more than sufficient. Johanna was very friendly and was already waiting for us at the property. She always tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Beautiful quiet location. What should possibly be considered for the stay: The bedroom is open. There is no door or similar between the rest of the accommodation.

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. This also means constant fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. There is also a beach on the dike for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. We have also thought of the dog. We'd love to come back.

Linda‘s place is a really nice apartment. In the inner circle of Alkmaar‘s old town but quiet though. Situated at a lovely Chanel where people sit outside and where there is a very special atmosphere in the evening when the sun goes down. The apartment is as described and we liked it a lot. There is a lift to the third floor which is of great help for people that struggle with stairs. Communication was easy and proactive. I can highly recommend this place.

Great place for a weekend trip. The flat is nice and Remco is a really friendly guy!

We were received in a very friendly manner and felt right at home. The apartment is well equipped and above all we loved the large terrace. The view is simply a dream!!! We would come back anytime. Thank you for everything.
