Luxury, cosy studio in village with pubs & walks

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Olde Forge was a great find. The accommodation is perfect for a couple and a dog. The place is very clean and comfortable. The bedroom has hanging space for clothes and plenty of room. The vaulted ceiling is impressive. The bathroom has a great shower with plenty of hot water and good power. The Faith in Nature products were a bonus. We particularly liked the fact that Marianne thinks about the environment and organic/biodegradable products are used. The area is very beautiful and picturesque. We cooked a breakfast but ate out the rest of the time with plenty of local eateries available and all were very good.

Idyllic cottage in quiet countryside near coast

JohannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage in the Suffolk countryside. We enjoyed cosy evenings spent in front of the wood burning stove. Aldeburgh is great for a day trip. The Crown pub was a welcoming place for lunch. Ed and Sarah are great hosts.

Perfect location in the country side. Easy to drive to Stowmarket. Plus good train links if you didn’t want to drive to Bury St Edmund. Accommodation modern and very clean. Loved the bird song in the back garden over a cup of tea. Highly recommend.

Stylish dog-friendly rural haven–Hollow Hill Annex

SueRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

Jacuzzi, sauna, masseuse, chef, dog friendly

NirmalaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

Suffolk country barn, perfect for a quiet escape.

MarthaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful few days at The Cowshed. It was beautifully finished and extremely well kitted out with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs and bread and treats, bowl/bed for our dog which was a lovely touch. There was a large secure garden with gorgeous views of the sunset and passing deer and lots of nice walks from the property. Nicola was incredibly responsive, helpful with recommendations of local places to visit and even first aid advice/supplies when our dog cut himself on a walk! I would definitely recommend this spot if you want to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet!

Stour Valley self-contained annexe set in 9 acres

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Had such a lovely few days break away from the craziness of life. Had everything we needed for our stay. Nyree was available throughout our stay. She had given us instructions on how to get there as its slightly hidden away which is what we wanted. We booked a lunch meal (recommended by Nyree to us) at the Henny Swan , thats just down the road. which is a must do. Its not far from Sudbury which is a lovely little town, found some nice walks too. Have to add that i have fallen in love with the kettle 🤣, game changer for Tea/Coffee lovers

Cart Lodge at Moat Farm

KerryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay, very peaceful and relaxing. The cartlodge is airy and spacious, bedding and comfort of beds is great. Very good facilities for cooking, although just a basic tin opener would be great as we couldn't get along with the ones there. Working in housekeeping for 10 years and from previous stays in other locations, was surprised not to get a welcome pack, this would be a nice gesture and feel the price does warrant it. However we will stay there again.

BARN CONVERSION TUCKED AWAY IN ENCHANTING SUFFOLK

CatherineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sara’s place is honestly a hidden gem. It is the perfect retreat for a peaceful relaxing stay. The accommodation is great, comfortable beds, top notch bathroom facilities and the kitchen is very well stocked. There are basics in the kitchen but I would recommend taking some oil, seasonings as we have to pop out for these when we got there. The garden is perfect for your pup to have a run around and is well enclosed so no escaping. I have saved Sara’s place as planning to head back there with my mum hopefully this year! It felt like a home away from home.

The Old Stable at Manor House, Middleton

MattRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Wow what a lovely place. Mandy and Steve have turned this barn into something so beautiful, well done. They invited us to walk around their garden, which they have obviously spent many hours/days/months/years maintaining, it’s truly a lovely garden and a haven for wildlife.  The place is perfect and laid out excellently given the size. The homemade fruit cake was very nice, a lovely touch.  The Bell Inn pub is excellent, so much so we ate in there twice and it’s a very nice short walk (around 10 mins) along footpaths and through farm tracks/fields. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay again.  Thank you…

Romantic Historic Watermill with woodfire & sauna!

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have returned from an idyllic stay at this breathtaking barn. Every nook and cranny is decorated with beautiful antiques, artwork and musical instruments and the setting is wonderfully private with the bonus of chickens and sheep on the doorstep. The property is very charming, with the advantage of a sauna to relax in. We used this both nights during our stay and played relaxing music through the bluetooth speaker which made it feel like a spa retreat! The quayside is just across the road and a small convenience store selling essentials literally a few steps away. We walked to two of the local pubs (5 min walk away) and had some nice food outside as we were blessed with the weather. We spent a day in Southwold and visited Beccles during our stay, both a short 20 min drive away. Andy and Katherine are both so friendly and accommodating and we’d love to stay again soon. Thank you!

Tui Cottage Snape-Coastal escape with wood burner

MartinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tui Cottage is a fantastic little place to stay in. Very well presented and a peaceful place to be. Ideal for 2. Enjoyed having our breakfasts on the covered patio with a field view. The local area is really accessible from here. Jess is a great host and you can tell that she takes great pride in what she does. Couldn’t fault it to be honest. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The Orchard Hadleigh 3 Bed Luxury Log Cabin

AlendRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Easily one of the best AirBnBs I have stayed at. The lodge was so well equipped, there was nothing more you could ask for. The place was kept very clean. Plenty of utensils for a BBQ and even kindling/logs for the firepit. Beyond this, Richard responded promptly to communication and truly went above and beyond. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

Idyllic house and gardens on estuary

NickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A wonderful house in beautiful surroundings. It also had that more difficult to attain "presence", with each room allowing you to relax and experience its homeliness and history. The whole family (6 adults and 2 grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. No-one really wanted to leave. Waking up to see the expanse of manicured gardens from bedroom windows and breakfast room was a calming relaxing pleasure. Plenty of walks available, and the walk to the local pub for an evening meal was safe and easy along quiet country roads. Would certainly recommend.

Exceptional cottage by the coast - Felixstowe

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and well equipped. I think it was even better than the photos! Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The garden was lovely to sit in and secure for my dog. Nick advised us on the quieter dog walks and we had some lovely walks in the countryside and along the river, with some stunning views. I found that all the dog walkers I met were very considerate and put their dogs on leads even before they realised that mine was reactive. This made the walks much more relaxed than usual. Whilst I didn’t use my car all weekend, as it was just me and my dog, along with the walks there are many things to see and do in this area. I would love to come back with my husband and explore it further. I would definitely recommend the cottage.
