Barn accommodation in Suffolk

Our fifth stay here, so you can tell how much we love it! Comfortable cottage is lovely peaceful surroundings, well located to explore the Suffolk coast and surroundings.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at The Old Dairy. A beautiful place that is clearly loved and well maintained. Excellent accessibility features, very thoughtfully done and tastefully decorated. The games room is glorious! Kind, considerate host was there to welcome us and give us a tour. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Very peaceful location. The barn was charming and very comfortable. Helen was a lovely host. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! It was set up really well for us with a great twin room for our daughters, lots of games in the lounge and the kitchen area onto the big garden was great for the dog. The cottage is positioned really well, close to Snape and Aldeburgh, the farm shop is a 4 min drive and had everything we needed. We did lots of lovely walks including to the local village pub. We were really lucky with the weather and the garden having fields on 2 sides gave us beautiful views morning and night. The chocolates were also a highlight!

Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

A lovely place for a break away. Cozy, but with plenty of space for two. Lovely using all the facilities available.

We could not be more grateful to Peter and his family for hosting us for my sister wedding locally. Absolutely gorgeous home and fantastic hosts. Extremely patient with us on wedding day when things became a little chaotic. Could not recommend more for a large family get away location.

Loved our stay here The Granary was well equipped with attention to detail being very evident, we felt instantly comfortable and at home there. It was incredibly peaceful with amazing views and lovely places to walk and enjoy the surroundings. We found a fabulous restaurant with excellent service and very tasty food. A truly perfect place to spend a couple of days, a big thank you to Rebecca and Joe for allowing us to stay there

The Hayloft is a wonderful romantic haven , very relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views all around , Nicola is a great host who showed us around and was on hand if needed,

We had a fantastic stay. The location is so beautiful and peaceful with great views of the garden and the decking being a sun trap was absolute bliss. Inside was really beautiful and spotlessly clean, with so many extra touches, from fresh fruit, to brownies to fresh herbs. Kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could ever need. I was so impressed and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much, we loved it. :)

We had a lovely few days at Betsey Trotwood, the bed was so comfy we slept really well. The accommodation was perfect, and Bella our dog enjoyed the back courtyard. The information folder which Matt and Michaela had put together was very useful, it helped us to decide where to visit, plenty of very nice pubs which served high standard food close by.

We had a lovely stay and found everything to be very clean and comfortable. A very peaceful setting tucked away in beautiful countryside Rebecca was very friendly and helped us out by giving a lift to my daughter to get her car back which we had left at the wedding we attended . We really appreciated that

Back again to the delightful MPC. This is such a tranquil, relaxing place to stay when visiting the area. A must stay if you’re travelling in Suffolk. Lizzy is a fabulous host and always leaves a welcome present (chocolate chip cookies). All the facilities you will need and access to Netflix etc. Thanks again …back to visit soon!

Sara’s place is honestly a hidden gem. It is the perfect retreat for a peaceful relaxing stay. The accommodation is great, comfortable beds, top notch bathroom facilities and the kitchen is very well stocked. There are basics in the kitchen but I would recommend taking some oil, seasonings as we have to pop out for these when we got there. The garden is perfect for your pup to have a run around and is well enclosed so no escaping. I have saved Sara’s place as planning to head back there with my mum hopefully this year! It felt like a home away from home.

The house is stunning- beautifully designed and decorated with a warm and cosy feeling! The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing! There are lots of places to sit and chill out within the house too- and outside. All facilities are provided in the kitchen too! Great family stay!

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Paul communicated well and was extra helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 adjoined cottages as it gave extra space and privacy too. The games room is inspired - a refuge for older children or adults with table tennis, table football, a radio and outdoor games but an independent goal for our toddlers too with gocarts and balls. Walking routes from the door meant no travelling by car for us so we'll have to visit again to see some of the many sights we've yet to visit! There are quite a lot of stairs between all the cottages which the children loved but put their parents on guard! The views the hillside afforded though were magnificent. And the animals on the working farm were a source of delight. Well equipped, Kate was on hand should we have any queries.

A wonderful property with a secure garden, just right for our little dog. We were very comfortable and the place was very clean, well appointed and cosy. A great location for exploring the Suffolk coast. Angela was a great host.

A huge thank you to Melissa - the barn was simply stunning! It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Even when it rained, it didn't matter at all. The hot tub was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful. Definitely stunning!!

A cosy and very comfortable cottage for our three night stay. The open plan living/dining/bedroom area actually felt more spacious than it appeared from the photos. The wood fire was a lovely treat on a cold night. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The sofa was also comfortable and spacious for two. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. Not as criticism, but I offer some extra information for others. The cottage is close to the road, and this road is not a rarely used country lane. There is a noticeable amount of commuter traffic, especially early morning and late afternoon. There is a combined washing machine and dryer, but no laundry powder/liquid is provided (so BYO).

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

We were looking for beautiful surroundings and peaceful location and we weren't disappointed. We could not ask for more. The cottage was spotless and Charlie was very helpful when needed. I do recommend the place with no hesitation.
