Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sumida River

I stayed for 2 days, and I had a really good rest! The floor with tatami mats was clean and pleasant, and the bed was fluffy, so it was really nice to sleep. The bathroom was clean and the hot water was very good, so I was very satisfied, but it was also a special experience and nice to use the local bathhouse recommended by the host. I was a little embarrassed at first because the stairs were steep, but I think it's just Japanese buildings in general.

Momoe-san was very communicative from the get go and was so lovely. She made us feel right at home and was available to answer any questions we had. Gotanda was a lovely area and the open play area was lovely to sit in with our son. Thank you for the hospitality! It was so comfortable to have a quiet place to come back to and it had all the amenities we needed. We didn't cook or use the kitchen but it was well stocked with lots of appliances!

Masaki's house was super furnished, the kitchen had a small grill, and as a welcome she even put beer and ginger ale in the fridge for us. We were very happy about that after the long journey! The house was huge with beanbags and sofa, a nice dining table with good light, we felt very comfortable. Right by the house was a footpath to the park, without cars. The park has a lake and you can walk along the river. It was only 15 minutes to the pedestrian zone, with many restaurants and shops. We would book it again immediately. Til next time!

We had a great stay at Akira’s place. We were a group of 8 people with 5 adults and 3 kids (10 and under). The house comfortably fit all of us and felt like home — Akira had everything we needed. Loved the residential neighbourhood- gave you a sense of how most people lived - and a restful reprieve after visiting the hustle and bustle of the major city areas. I would mention that if you have a large taxi/transport, it may be difficult to get right to the house as the roadways are very narrow (typical for residential areas). Two laundry places and vending machines right by the house (so convenient)! Walkable to train stations. Look forward to coming back!

We loved staying here! Very comfortable for our family of 6. Great location, very easy to access public transportation and get all around Tokyo. It was a perfect space to come back to after a busy day. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to others.

This airbnb is incredible. Walking distance to the local train station to get just about anywhere you need to go. The unit itself is very clean and beautiful. It was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the location and all the local restaurants. The hosts are great and very responsive. Definitely recommend this place!

Maki was such a great host - super quick to reply, always helpful and friendly! We stayed at his place as a group of 6 for about 2 weeks and had an excellent time there. The whole interior has a more traditional style which we really liked. The living room table was our chosen spot for socializing in the morning and evening, taking a break from exploring Tokyo during the day. Loved the location, as well - two metro stations in walkable distance, convenient stores left and right and a cute shopping street nearby. 10/10, fabulous experience!

great place for a group . nice quiet neighborhood.. setagaya is a nice upscale area . very near Sagenjaya which has nice place to eat and drink

This will be the third time I have used it.The place was very beautiful and full of amenities.I especially use it with children, so it is very helpful to have a kitchen every time.There is a convenience store, supermarket, and 100 yen shop just a few minutes' walk away, which is convenient. It is one of the pleasures of being able to meet the kind and friendly owner every time.I would like to use it again this year.

This was a great stay. Close to several different train stations and a short walk from Tokyo tower. Mathew was very help and had clear instructions for everything. 10/10.

The appartement was in a right spot, it was nice and quiet but also close to Shinjuku. The host was very responsive and when we checked in he left us a little snack.

The location is underground, don't worry about carrying your luggage, the sound insulation is poor at night, often listening to the footsteps upstairs, making it difficult to sleep. It doesn't have a TV, it doesn't have a window. The location is convenient, and it takes 8-10 minutes to go to Asakusa.

A nice environment and good communication with the host — that’s all that matters.

The space was clean and spacious. The photos and description matched the place. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at Masa's place and had a memorable time. He was quick to respond and very accommodating with our schedule. His guest guide file was EXTREMELY detailed and very help. Particularly the different routes to the Airbnb. The location was great as it was less than 10m walk from Oedo line station. Area had several konbinis nearby and a Sukiya for those staying with young children. Would definitely recommend working with Masa again!

This Airbnb was amazing. Location was very convenient and the place was very clean and spacious and had a lot of very nice amenities. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice and quiet as well.

The environment is very clean, but the soundproofing is not so good, it is also very close to the station, and there are many shops nearby.

It was a comfortable and nice house. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer together. However, I think it would have been better if there were a little more towels.

The space was large and just as described. We enjoyed how close to 2 different train stations the home was. Clean and tidy- would definitely stay again in the future.

It was accessible from the subway and bus stops, and 8 people were able to rest comfortably in one space. It was nice to feel the traditional Japanese atmosphere. The host's prompt, detailed, and friendly explanation was also good.
