Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Sveitarfélagið Ölfus

Spectacular location, great sunsets and we were lucky to have a great display of the northern lights. The house is very comfortable and well equipped.

Our last accomandation in Iceland and one of the best (17 dass in Iceland with a lot of different one) The hot Tube was Perfect, the House very well equipped and the Communication always perfectly in Time. We really enjoyed our time, thank you Mikael.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was great home base for our day trips. The Airbnb had everything we needed as well. Olafur was very helpful and responsive. There were also more toys here for the kids than we’ve had at any other Airbnb which was perfect for keeping the kids busy. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow- this was one of our favorite stays on Airbnb! Johanna’s house is clean, very spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved playing with the chickens outside. Jóhanna is an excellent host!

This place was so great, we enjoyed our stay so much! It‘s super spacious, beautiful and well equipped, I‘ll definetly book it again if I ever come to Iceland again! The area is also great, lots of new buildings there, everything you need is not far away and it was very peaceful :)

I stayed here with a group of friends and we felt right at home when we arrived. The place was extremely cozy and well stocked with what we needed. Although we didn’t use the kitchen to cook, it had everything you needed if you did need to cook. Close enough to the city center to get there in around 15 minutes by car but sufficiently far enough that it’s peaceful at night.

Great place to stay with a toddler! They had a toddler room full of toys which helped keep my kiddo entertained. the bedrooms had blackout curtains which was perfect for Icelandic summer. The house had lots of character which we loved. Easily accessible to grocery store. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful place and in the perfect location for exploring the Golden Circle. The house was plenty big for the eight adults in our group, and we were all able to spread out, but also come together for meals and games. Although we didn’t use it, the hot tub was a great amenity. Our host was wonderful and very responsive when I contacted her with a question before booking and also when I needed to turn off the security system. We would highly recommend staying here.

Sigridur’s place is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood but at the same time only 15 minutes away from Reykjavik downtown! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sigridur’s place. It is clean, spacious, and fitted our family of 7 easily, and has all the necessities including outlet adapters and a cute play area for the kids! Sigridur is also responsive to all our questions and provided list of recommendations for us. Overall, would definitely want to stay here again next time in Iceland.

We loved that the home felt peaceful and remote, even though it was easy to access from highway 1. As soon as we arrived, we felt we could relax in Sara's clean and cozy home with all its nice amenities. We loved the heated towel rack in the bathroom! The trampoline was an unexpected bonus for our son, who immediately started jumping off his excess energy from the car ride.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain’s Villa. Beautiful, spotless and ideal for our group of 7, but it could easily accommodate 10. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with double beds; a common area with a sofa bed; full bathroom; balcony; and entrance to the glass dome. On the first floor, there is a great room with living area, dining area and extremely well-stocked kitchen (rare for Airbnb rental). First floor also has a bedroom with a double bed and crib and full bathroom with laundry. There was a lot of thought put into the home, from the design to the lock box for the dishwasher tablets (for child safety)—even a bowl full of “Mountain Villa” branded chocolates in the living room—such a nice touch! I wish we hadn’t booked as many hot spring visits, as we could have taken better advantage of the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna—which were lovely. My husband and I took part in the lifting stones challenge in the front lawn—and I was pleased to lift the 45 kg stone to the pedestal.

This was a really beautiful place to stay, we loved it. House was spotless and so well equipped and warm. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Location was amazing and the views are incredible. The high snow fall did make getting out of the driveway difficult, but that was part of the adventure.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin! The space was spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. It offered the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience—quiet and relaxing, yet close to great attractions and things to do in the area. The host was exceptionally accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in comfort and nature!

Heidrun’s place was amazing!! Beautifully maintained with all the amenities you could wish for. We had an amazing time there. Everything was exactly as listed. Wonderful, friendly and responsive hosts. 100% recommendation!

Five stars!! The home was immaculate and there were stunning views out every window. The hot tub was a great way to start and end the day and the convenience of being able to do laundry was much appreciated. We loved being able to spend a couple days on the Golden circle and not rush. We wished we had more time as we would have enjoyed just sitting on the porch in nature and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice and cozy cabin. Conveniently located if you’re looking to explore the southwestern island by vehicle. ~5min drive to the town of Selfoss for groceries and supplies. The hot tub is a nice addition. A private room for each of two couples and a loft that slept our two kids. Worked nicely for our family.

The cabin was just as described. The beds were all comfortable and the hot tub was great and though the road is close - you could not hear it with the windows closed. We had a little trouble finding the place - google & apple both took us to the wrong place - but our car’s nav found it. The only thing the cabin didn’t have that would have been nice is curtains. It was tough to sleep when you are not used to it being light out all night, but we survived. The location was great for exploring Reykjavík, the golden circle and south Iceland.

Great stay at Valdi's place. It had everything we needed for our family of four including the bunk beds for the kids. Was very convenient for exploring the area.

Oskar was the ultimate host. He responded to all of my queries promptly. His home fit our needs perfectly. Very clean, well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed his hot tub, and my 9-year-old grandson had a nice grassy area in front of the house to run around and play in.

We had an amazing stay! Viktor’s home had everything we needed for a family of 5. Many bedrooms and two bathrooms were a plus! Private in a gated community, but an easy and scenic drive to all the sights. A perfect experience for our first time in Iceland!

The place was good and location was great too.

We loved staying here. It was so quiet and peaceful, and yet close to everything we wanted to do. We bbq-ed some delicious salmon from the grocery store that was recommended, and slept so well every night. Simply a wonderful place to call home base.
