Jóhann’s place perfect for what we needed. The shared kitchen was very clean and had everything you could need. The coffee was delicious. The two bathrooms were also clean and spacious. The parking was a little tight but under a car port!

Great rooms, super clean and well-equipped. A modest breakfast included. Recommended

It was my first time using it, but they guided me politely, so I was able to check in smoothly. I had a very pleasant stay, and I had a pleasant conversation with the other guests. I thought it was quite cheap considering the good location and the fact that it was a private room. Thank you!

They are amazing! if you need a place to rest, I recommend Kex. They were amazing and let me drop my pack off, change my clothes, and gave me recommendations of places to visit while I waited to check in (I got there super early right from the plane). And they have a beautiful view from the front door. I slept like a rock and their breakfast was delicious. And they were so good that I'm staying again at the end of my trip! Thanks Kex ❤️

Great place. Very helpful, even helped sort out the under-tray that was hanging off the car. Lots of attractions very close.

The house is very nicely located and clean. Although there are many rooms and guests, there are no problems using the bathroom or showers as there is a toilet and two bathrooms. Whenever I needed to use them they were available. For check-in you have to pick up the keys in a lock box, which is very good because you can enter whenever you want and without disturbing anyone. The only downside was to stay us while they renovate the house, since the noise was annoying and there were workers around. As for everything else, everything went smooth I would repeat.

The flat is very clean in a central location with a fully equipped kitchen which was very useful. The only annoying thing was that the listing indicated that *free* parking would be available on the street but that was not the case so we had to park further away from the accommodation. Not too bad but wish the information in the listing would have been accurate. Would nonetheless stay again.

Good stay for one night during our travels, very clean! A kitchen would have been nice though, and it’s a bit noisy in the morning because you can hear your room neighbours. But we slept very well. Nice beds.

We had the best time here. Cute houses, very clean, hottubs were a very welcome luxury after a long day. Just minutes away from Selfoss where we had an amazing dinner at the Foodhall

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

This is a cute cottage in an area with many cottages. It overlooks a lovely field as well as an area where RVs and campers are. The washer and dryer are both paid and in a central location. The hot tub was ready for us and we were shown to our cabin, which was kind. There is a restaurant and a small grocery area at the location, which is very convenient. I would choose this location again. It is in a very convenient location in the golden circle.

The hot tub was absolutely amazing, providing a perfect way to relax. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay on ring road Highway N1.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean room with everything you need. We showed up late at night. They were serving dinner to the fisherman who come to fish. Even though the dinner already started, they accommodated us and let us eat as well. Which was really nice since most places were already closed. We got to meet local Icelandic fishermen and talk to them which was nice to interact with true locals. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus. The breakfast was also the best breakfast we had during our 2 week stay. We’ll definitely come back again on our next trip!

I loved my short stay at Maria's place. Maria was so welcoming and friendly, and gave a very offbeat recommendation for an Icelandic experience. Her house is like a home away from home. Clean, well stocked house and a very cosy room with very warm hospitality from her and her son. It was close to bus routes and to the main highway and downtown. Plus there was a very easy to use parking space. I would love to go back and stay longer.
