The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people, and a travel cot for a small child is also available. From Kowary, there are numerous hiking trails (including Śnieżka, Okraj pass, Skalny Stół), which are a great alternative to the (often crowded) trails starting, for example, from Karpacz.
