Hostel holiday rentals in Sweden

Nous avons dormi dans la grande maison traditionnelle de Dalécarlie. Elle est magnifique avec ses boiseries, ses peintures traditionnelles, ses poeles de masses en faïence... C'est un endroit à voir absolument . Notre hôte nous a gentiment accueilli ... merci encore

Andrew runs a lovely hostel located in some old villas. There are plenty off nice seating areas everywhere, overall the place is quite cozy. The breakfast they offer is very nice for hostel standards, even plant milk was offered which I really appreciated. Some restaurants are reachable by walk, but it will take you some 20 minutes. Overall this is a good starting point for exploring Dalarnas. Andrew is a quiet guy but super helpful if you have any questions or need help. Breakfast is 100 SEK, washing is 50 SEK (10 SEK being ~1€ while I was in Sweden).

Verkligen ett jättebra bemötande, proffsigt på alla sätt. Lokalerna är jättespännande med orginalininredningen bevarad. Vi fick visserligen ett för litet rum till att börja med. Bra service handlar inte om att aldrig göra misstag, bra service handlar om att hantera misstagen. Vi fick jättesnabb och bra respons och ett rum med tre sängar. Vi kommer gärna tillbaks.

Spændende bolig med dufte fra Det fjerne Østen.. Værelset fungerer fint. Badet fungerer fint . Sengen fungerer fint. Køkkenet fungerer fint. Meget roligt kvarter. Værten er flink, rar og hjælpsom.

Everything was very clean and convenient. Loved the communal space, kitchen, bathrooms, and showers. I only stayed for a night with 7 of my friends but I would definitely come back for a longer stay!

Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Wir wussten vorher nicht das wir kein Tageslicht haben werden, trotzdem war es schön und wir würden wieder buchen.

la chambre était confortable. Agréablement surprise par l'épicerie en libre service dans le hall qui permet d'acheter de la nourriture et des produits de première nécessité. Café également disponible. Grand parking. très proche de l'aéroport de Vilhelmina. Pistes de motoneige et ski très proches également.

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla stazione e dal centro. Ci si può spostare a piedi e con i mezzi per visitare la città. Ambiente giovane, vivace e bello, pulito. Abbiamo anche apprezzato la colazione e i servizi bar e ristorante, e i giochi (flipper e simulatore guida) e gli arredi. Davvero piacevole, pratico, comodo e bello 😉 . Fantastico!

Stället är precis som det beskrivs, ett vandrarhem med delat kök och badrum. Blev väl mottagen på plats och rummet innehöll det som behövdes för enklare behov.

The place my brother & I stayed in was a room with two single beds on the second storey of a former railroad station. There are three rooms on the second storey that share a kitchen and a bathroom. The three rooms are named after different seasons — summer, fall and winter— and in the shared space, kitchen cupboards, fridge space and closets are allocated to each of the rooms. We liked this efficient organization of space. Our room (“Höst”) had comfortable beds with warm duvets and was otherwise comfortable. The kitchen was well organized. As for the bathroom, I was expecting shampoo & conditioner in the shower but this being my first visit to Sweden, I don’t know whether providing shampoo & conditioner is standard there. My brother and I really enjoyed visiting with the guests in the other rooms. Both were health care professionals from the south of Sweden up in Sorsele for work. Based on our experience and the quality of the other guests, I recommend Hook and Cup to other travellers.
