Island holiday rentals in Sweden

The house is a real pearl in Stockholm archipelago, beautifully decorated which allows guests to understand the true living in this unique nature setting. The house is well equipped, with a spacious patio/deck for breakfast, lunch or dinner with brand new deck furniture. The house built in 1912, offers spectacular views from each room and is located next to a 1500 year old viking chiefs' grave shaped like a boat which gives a unique tie to the Scandinavian history. We experienced beautiful waterfront sunsets dining at the the dock house which offers charming overnight accommodations and has all the kitchen, dining/bbq equipment so guests can enjoy the dining at waterfront without running up to the main house. The sauna house is easy to use and guests can cool off stepping into the sea. For local excursions, the house is about 50 minutes drive to Stockholm old town. We thank the host Fredrik and his wife for a fantastic vacation in this spectacular Swedish nature reserve.

Vi (5 voksne og en 3-åring) hadde en fantastisk uke på vakre Syd-Hallsö! Huset var enda finere i virekligheten, vi kunne tusle ned på en nydelig sandstrand og gikk mange fine turer. Båten var super til handleturer og cafetur på naboøya. Anbefaler virkelig et opphold her for å la roen senke seg for både voksne og barn :)

Amazing place, really great host and because it's used as a holiday home for the family it has everything you could need, which is really handy for little things like sticks to roast marshmallows on! Despite the changeable weather, because the place is so well planned and equipped, we had an amazing time. Great kayaks, trampoline in the garden was very much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when we next go to Sweden.

un vrai paradis pour aventuriers ayant besoin de calme. Il faut savoir prendre un canot à moteur 15 minutes pour arriver sur cette petite île où il y a 2 maisons.nous avons profité des vues incroyables, de la nature, du calme, du bain nordique et du sauna.Un bonheur absolu à 36 kms de Stockholm

Nicklas is an outstanding host, simply perfect: friendly, warm, flexible, funny. The house is wonderful, a unique set up in complete loneliness. Simple, down to earth, but very welcoming and nice. Beautiful area, we loved all aspects of it. It is helpful if you are a “hands-on” family on not overly “etepetete”, over-sensitive or finicky. For us it was the perfect place for a fulfilling and active holiday in complete loneliness (including lots of fishing). We will come back!

One of the most amazing AirBnB experiences we have ever had. This island is beautiful and offers tranquility, lots of gorgeous views and serene nature. Personal highlight: The sauna with direct view on the water. Marcus was very friendly, super helpful regarding the organization of the transfers to the island and overall a great host!

Vi hade två toppennätter på Flatö i denna stuga. Pierre var väldigt snabb och hjälpsam i sin konversation, och Hans som hjälpte till på plats var toppentrevlig han med. Jättebra stuga med många sovplatser. Passade toppen för oss med småbarn. Skulle gärna bo där igen!

Die abgeschiedene und einzigartige Lage der Insel ist nicht zu übertreffen. Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern (4 und 7 Jahre) ein großes Abenteuer auf der Insel - schwimmen im Fluss, Lagerfeuer, Sauna,Boot fahren etc. Das Haus war gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben jede Sekunde in vollen Zügen genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Helt fantastiskt boende på en liten ö precis intill havet. Bättre än bilderna visar så detta måste bara ses och upplevas. Vi har bokat många ställen på Airbnb och detta är nya favoriten! Fint välkomnande av Jonas med tydliga instruktioner. Vi njöt vid jacuzzin på solterassen och av friden att vara helt ensamma på ön. Fantastiskt att vakna upp till den fina utsikten. Utedusch och förbrännings toalett som vi trodde skulle vara bökigt men det var väldigt smidigt och uteduschen var skön, härligt att duscha ute. Mysig stuga med allt man behöver. Rekommenderas varmt!

Så mysigt och genuint ställe. Vi vill verkligen återkomma och bo här igen. Mysigt, lugnt och rent. Vi hade även tur med vädret 🌞

We had a wonderful 14 days in Kornelia's summer cottage. The location and the view of the lake are particularly outstanding. For our children it was like a little adventure where they could discover the beautiful nature of the island freely and safely. On top of that, the accommodation was very well equipped and clean, and Kornelia and Johann and the entire island community were very welcoming. I recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful, varied and relaxing time in a great environment.

10/10 på alla tänkbara sätt! Daniel var flexibel och gästvänlig, boendet kändes hemma och var supermysigt! Vi kommer tillbaka

Jättefin miljö och mysig stuga! Ön där stugan är belägen är i sin definition pittoresk och väldigt fridfull och vacker. Stugan har allt en behöver med välfungerande bastu med gångavstånd till stränder och bryggor där en kan ta sig ett svalkande dopp eller slappna av och bada i sitt egna "ostörda" sällskap. Ön har också promenadstråk med skog runt omkring. Stugan är förhållandevis nära andra stugor men bra avskärmad så en tänker knappt på grannar. Kan varmt rekommendera denna plats och Josefine som värd är väldigt hjälpsam och tillgänglig. Stort tack!

Några dagar på ön i Stockholms skärgård var väldigt speciell upplevelse. En enkel och mysig stuga. Väldigt vacker natur för härliga promenader, badmöjligheter, bärplockning och för att koppla av. Den närliggande bryggan är en trevlig plats för att äta middagar eller njuta av en härlig utsikt! Max och hans familj är välkomnande, vänliga och hjälpsamma. Vi hade en trevlig vistelse på ön. Rekommenderas!

Der Empfang von Marie-Louise war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt, was wir wissen mussten. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar abgelegen, man hat seine Ruhe und kann sehr gut entspannen. Perfekt, wenn man abschalten möchte von der Hektik des Alltags. Mit dem Ruderboot kann man super die Gegend erkunden oder andere Inseln besuchen. Wichtig ist, dass man gut vorbereitet kommt (Einkäufe erledigt,…). Die Unterkunft ist rustikal und gemütlich, es hatte alles was wir brauchten. Wir haben die Tage auf der Insel sehr genossen und hätten auch noch länger bleiben können.

Wir waren eine Woche auf Viktorias Insel und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Absolut ruhig und sehr erholsam. Die Kommunikation mit Viktoria war sehr gut, ihr Onkel hat uns nach Ankunft alles gezeigt und war super nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Christina's house is an absolute jewel! Located on an archipelago, 1 hour from Stockholm, you find the red house with huge window front and a giant property. The house itself is also quite large, offering enough rooms for a big familiy, a spacious living room and very well equipped kitchen. In one of the two bathrooms you also find a little sauna. Wifi is available and was working perfectly. Several sunny terraces with tables and chairs are perfect to have coffee, read, or watch the birds or have barbecue on the grills. From the bright dining room, you overlook the shore with a little island closeby. There are several boats which can be used to paddle around and explore the typical islands. You'll find a little jetty, and even a picnic place right at the shore. The nature is untouched and beautiful, with lots of animals to see (even moose!); the lovely town of Trosa a short drive away. Christina was always available and had great tips for us, making this an unforgettable stay! :)

Ett otroligt dygn på denna fina ö med övernattning i det häftiga trädhuset! En mer fridfull plats får man leta efter, sjö och skog så långt ögat når. Ta med god mat, badkläder och något varmt att sova i, resten finns på ön. Anthony som värd var väldigt vänlig och svarade snabbt på alla frågor inför besöket. På plats mötte han upp oss vid parkeringen, hjälpte till och bära till båten och gav en fin rundtur på ön. Även delade med sig av historier och lärde oss nya spel, helt enkelt en perfekt värd! Vi är väldigt nöjda och glada, tack👏🌲🌞

Magnus was very helpful and responsive and immediately fixed something we asked him to. The house is a quiet gem - very relaxing , beautiful surroundings and comfortable. We enjoyed the cows and sheep and the beautiful forest nearby.

WOW. Is all I can say.Stayed with my partner this September for 5 days.Cannot get over how lovely and perfect this stay was.Boat given to get to the island and back when needed during the stay.Easy to row to.House exceeded expectations,was lovely and clean,cost and even had abit of food for us the night we arrived,this detail meant a lot.Every aspect and eventually thought about by host,life jackets provided,female products in toilet,towels,flannels,yogurt and cold fresh drinking water.Him and his wife met us on arrival and showed us the place we had booked.Were so accommodating and wish to be back here ASAP.Loved this place.
