Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Symi

Το σπίτι ήταν τρομερό, με ένα μπαλκονι με φανταστική θέα. Υπεράνετο για 6 άτομα, μιας και είχε 3 υπνοδωμάτια. Από το πάρκινγκ είχε 5 λεπτά περίπου κατάβαση από σκαλάκια. (Τα σκαλάκια ήταν λίγο κουραστικά για κάθε μέρα αλλά τα περισσότερα σπίτια στη Σύμη έτσι είναι, και χειρότερα). Συμφώνησε όλη η παρέα ότι ήταν πολύ καλή επιλογή να μένουμε λίγο πιο πάνω από τη χώρα του νησιού και οχι τόσο κεντρικά, ήταν ήσυχα και το απολαύσαμε. Ο Νίκος πολύ εξυπηρετικός οικοδεσπότης. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ Νίκο!

The appartment is truly wonderfull. Perfect place. We came a bit out of season so the city was closing a bit down. The appartment has perfect location but it also has some night life noise, touristic and noise from big boats / construction. The terrace is perfect. Though The appartment is a bargain and the host is very heartwarm.

My stay at the house was a dream. Everything was perfect. The house, the hostess, the location, the island. Everything was absolutely amazing. Miss Katerina was so sweet warm and helpful. The house was lovely with an amazing balcony. So nicely located and quiet. I am sure I will visit again. Totally recommended

Lage sehr Zentral und der Ausblick ist auch mit dabei über den ganzen Hafen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Airbnb/Hotels muss man keine Treppen steigen (ist nämlich in ganz Symi so), sondern kann mit den Koffern angenehm hoch zu laufen. Außerdem sehr hygienisch, und auch für 4 Personen groß genug.

Ottima accoglienza, la casa é molto particolare e affascinante. Adatta ad una coppia. É una casa dell’antico borgo ristrutturata in modo di renderla comoda ma senza toglierle la patina del tempo. Non è per tutti però perché il letto è su un soppalco con una scala che richiede un po’ di agilità. La vista dal tetto é fantastica. Perfetta per fare da cornice ad un aperitivo con la bottiglia di vino offerto da Frederique!

Dank Maria en Phivos voor de fijne tijd, die we hebben doorgebracht in jullie bijzondere vakantiehuis. De architectuur en persoonlijke stijl waarderen wij zeer. Na aankomst op Symi heeft Ian ons goed wegwijs gemaakt en verteld over het boeiende eiland verleden. Favoriet was voor ons het ontbijten bij zonsopkomst op het dakterras en relaxen in de patio. Ons uitgangspunt was zoveel mogelijk te voet ontdekken. En elke dag werden wij opnieuw verrast. Leuke bijkomstigheid was dat wij ons steeds energieker voelden en helemaal niet meer tegen het klimmen naar boven opzagen. Vaak even gestopt bij levendige Lefteris om drankje te drinken. Intens genoten van de prachtige baaitjes van Symi. Onze favoriete baai was toch Nicolas Bay. Onze boodschappen deden wij bij de supermarkt, vlakbij Zoe. Aanteraden is het drinkwater van hen bij het huis te laten bezorgen. Fantastisch gegeten bij Agora. De gerechten daar zijn zeer verfijnd en orgineel, Michelin ster waardig. Kortom enorm genoten van Symi!

Met at the port by the amazing Nicholas who delivered us safely to the house, giving tips on navigating the labyrinth of cobbled passageways (we did still get lost but all part of the fun!) Lovely authentic, old house high in Chorio with fabulous views from the two terraces. Quiet & peaceful. Very hot for June but the air conditioning worked magnificently. Great restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk of the house and regular bus service to both Pedi and the main port for access to boats for beaches and more restaurants. There are about 400 steps from the port, up the Kalistrata to the house, walking down was easy and worth it for the views and a cooling ‘no fuss’ lemonade at Mediterraneo, back is more of a challenge but walks off lunch or dinner! Minibus to Tolli for fab taverna, views and swim (including with a baby turtle), a must. All beaches were lovely though with good places to eat and crystal clear water. Great house for a relaxing holiday.

Notre séjour à Symi était parfait. Johnny a de trés bonnes recommandations et se rend trés disponible et à l’écoute. Le logement est dans les hauteurs donc il faut aimer monter les nombreuses marches. Mais cela donne un autre point de vue sur la ville,l’appartement est propre. Je recommande

Virkelig dejligt sted at holde ferie. Den mest fantastiske udsigt, ligesom den skal være på Symi. Værten var meget imødekommende og der blev taget hånd om værelset ift. linned og håndklæder og lettere rengøring. Man skal være opmærksom på de mange trappetrin, men det er turen værd.

Great location with quiet surrounds. The property has everything you need for a short and comfortable stay in Symi. Early check in was able to be accommodated for us and storage of our bags which was a great help.

דירונת מתוקה וקסומה, שווה את הטיפוס אליה. מיקום טוב לטיולים גם בכיוון ההר וגם בכיוון הנמל. כפי שכתבו אורחים רבים- האתגר הוא למצוא את המקום בפעם הראשונה. אמנם מרקוריוס שלח הנחיות, אך הן אינן מספיקות- המפה היא תצלום של Google-earth וקשה לנווט באמצעותה, התצלומים של הרחובות מאוד עזרו, אך הם לא מספיקים, יש ביניהם פערים שקשה לגשר עליהם לבד. כדאי מאוד לשלוח סירטון של הדרך. גם העובדה שניתן לתקשר עם בעל הבית רק דרך אתר ההזמנות מאוד מסרבלת את העניין. מרגע שהגענו- התאהבנו בדירה ונהננו מאוד מן השהות בה.

The apartment is beautiful and the view is even more stunning in person. The apartment is immaculately clean, functional and has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Ioannis and his wife are extremely kind hosts very helpful, they also have a gorgeous dog called Ben. Ioannis was so friendly and nothing was a problem, he provided extra towels and coffee, gave us restaurant and outing suggestions. An amazing property at a great price. The walk to town took 10 mins, to the beach approx 25 mins. The walk home after a few glasses of retsina took a little longer but we enjoyed getting our steps in every day

This place was perfect for what we needed it for. Its very small but the bed was super comfy and seemed bigger than a king size! The host kindly organised a taxi for us to pick us up free of charge and the taxi man walked us to the property as well as give us some basic information about where we could go in Symi. I didnt realise it was so high up so it was a bit of a walk each day however we found two hidden authentic family ran greek restaurants within the village so it was perfect. Highly recommend and a fantastic host!

We enjoyed a three night stay at Katerina and Terry’s place and found it well equipped and very well situated. It was so close to our ferry drop off by the clock tower - just a couple of minutes walk - which was super convenient… it was also really close to lots of other things - there is a small supermarket just down the nearest steps where we found everything we needed included bottled water at a good price (we got through lots as the tap water on the island isn’t drinkable). The apartment also was minutes from some swimming steps into the harbour which we used to go for a swim and snorkel from in the incredibly clear water. We would very much recommend this! There are plenty of bars, restaurants and little shops nearby to walk around and we enjoyed climbing the steps to the upper town, which isn’t far. Overall it’s a great base for exploring Symi and our hosts communicated really well and checked in to ensure we knew where our ferry left from too. Thanks to you both! Jo and Matt

The flat is hidden in a cute, quiet neighborhood. There’s a bit of walking from the harbor, but very worth it. Giannis picked us up from the ferry and gave a lot of good tips for activities and restaurants on the island.

Fantastic location, incredibly friendly staff, and full of great local tips that really enhanced our stay. They went above and beyond by scheduling a car to pick us up, which was such a relief after the long journey. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and everything we needed was easily accessible. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and truly appreciated the personal touches throughout our stay. Overall, an amazing experience — we would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed with husbans and 3y old son. And we all were satisfied. Communication was smooth with Evdokia. Apartment was rather spacious and lovely. Sea is close, you can take a walk to grocery stores and cafes and restaurants easily. Also easy to access from the Airport with bus and taxi.

Great responsive host. We had very late flight landing before midnight. Thus, after collecting the car we were very late 1 am. Also we had issue to find the place due to google map showing different location. But Arestir was waiting for our coming, giving us updated link with direction. We were very pleased for help and host. Beautiful apartment with full privacy. We love a big patios with two balconies to have a seat at evenings after busy day. We can recommend this place.

Bizim ilk airbnb deneyimimizdi ve oldukça memnun kaldık. Yasemen hanım çok ilgiliydi ev ise harikaydı, her şey elinizin altında evde gösterilen anlatılan her şey vardı. Gerek yatak odası gerek banyo mutfak gayet temizdi. Kendi evimizde gibi hissettik, şehrin kalabalığından uzakta huzur dolu bir yer sessiz sakin gayet güvenli. Araba olduğu için her yere yakındı merkez 5 dakika. Biz çok memnun kaldık, Yasemen hanıma çok teşekkürler tekrardan. Tekrar Datça’ya yolumuz düşerse hiç tereddüt etmeden kalacağımız bir yer 💙

We had a wonderful stay, the location was perfect for exploring Rhodes. The apartment had a lovely view and was close to the beach, as well as many good restaurants . Public transport was very accessible and frequent. There were also many local rental cars available to explore the island. Our host was very friendly and available. The apartment was very clean and perfect for our needs. I would definitely recommend it as a great location for a wonderful visit to Rhodes.

Wir haben zu zweit eine Woche auf Rhodos verbracht. Die Wohnung von Nikos und Katerina hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus liegt sehr privat, etwas außerhalb der Kleinstadt Kremasti. Im Erdgeschoss leben Nikos und seine Familie, von denen wir aber nichts gehört haben. In der ersten Etage befinden sich zwei Airbnb Wohnungen, welche sich auch nicht gegenseitig stören. Auf der Vorderseite befindet sich eine mit der anderen Wohnung geteilte Terrasse mit Tisch und Palettensofa, an der eigenen Wohnung ein größerer Balkon mit Tisch, Sofa, Stühlen, Sonnenschirm und Whirlpool. Der Strand ist ca. 500m entfernt, auch das Dorf 500m in die andere Richtung. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen (5min mit dem Auto) sind natürlich alle Flugzeuge zu hören, was uns aber nicht gestört hat und wir auch vorher wussten. Der Flughafen Rhodos hat auch nachts noch Betrieb, vereinzelt starten & landen also auch gegen 3 Uhr nochmal ein Flugzeug. Bei Bedarf liegen aber Ohropax im Schlafzimmer bereit.

We had a wonderful time at L&C apartments. The staff was super friendly, we had a room close to the garden where our child had lots of space to play. Zafeira even provided some toys of her own children. We made use of the kitchenette in our apartment, while enjoying the hotel and cleaning services. Perfect combination when travelling with a young child!

I stayed at George’s place with my mum and sister for 8 nights and we had a lovely time. We were greeted by his mum Casia and she was very welcoming. She was very friendly and helpful. When we requested additional things she immediately provided them. The view from the apartment was amazing and the beach is only 1 minute walk. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need as we cooked ourselves most days. The area was very quite and peaceful and we felt very safe. It’s only 15 mins drive to Rhodes old town which was also very convenient. The communication with George was excellent. We had a slight issue with the aircon and he got it repaired very quickly. There are lots of restaurants, small and big supermarkets, gift shops, etc. We enjoyed watching the airplanes landing to the nearby airport and also the cure land train which provides sightseeing tours. We’d definitely come back and recommend George’s place.
