Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

My family of four was in Syracuse for three nights for my daughter’s graduation from SU. The location of this home was perfect, right near the athletic center, in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The home is BEAUTIFUL and exactly like the photos. All four of us remarked DAILY how much we adored the living space, the furnishings, the style, and the amenities. It’s a bright and cozy home. The entire place was immaculate. The beds are all super comfortable, soft sheets, good towels and plenty of them. There are countless pillows so no need to bring your own. There were a ton of complimentary water bottles already cold in the fridge and some snacks. Though we didn’t have time to use it, there is a lovely back yard and a new deck with furniture available as well. Jeffrey was flexible with our check in/out times and very responsive to my messages. If my daughter wasn’t leaving Syracuse, I would book this home EVERY TIME. Can I give more than 5 stars?? THANK YOU JEFFREY!

We had a great time at Lynda’s Airbnb! It was super clean! It was a great spot to stay, not too far from downtown and the neighborhood is so nice. We spoke to a few neighbors and they were super nice as well. We will definitely come back and stay here again next time we come to the Syracuse area! :)

Our stay was great from start to finish. The host was very communicative prior to check in and throughout our stay. I had a ton of questions and she took time to answer them all. She was accommodating to our situation and so sweet to wish our son good luck at his basketball tournament! The house was amazing, cozy clean and as my son said "staked". I couldn't find a light for candles, and the hosts dropped on a lighter with a new candle, with no interruption of the stay. Normally we go out to eat when we are traveling for tournaments but this place was so cozy we decided to make dinner there. We also brought our pups - and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure our fur babies had a wonderful stay as well. If we're ever in the area again we will booking here for sure! PS...the beds....oh the beds...were something from a dream.

The Cozy Cape was definitely that! I was very happy with the home and the location; quiet, yet close to everything we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The hosts were great with communication and have created a space that is warm and inviting. In addition, there are many walkable bars/ restaurants in the area. We would love yo stay again in the future. Highly recommend!!

This was a great place to stop overnight during a long trip. It was very clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable. The huge off-leash park, with water access, at Jamesville beach just 2 miles away was amazing for our dog. I'm also mentioning here that there's a vintage hifi audio store a few doors down (Hionfi) for anyone who may be interested to check the opening hours so you don't miss out! Thank you Jenna. We'll definitely stop here again if we are passing through the region.

An excellent choice to stay. Home was easy to get to. Tanya was flexible with accommodations that we needed. Usual check out was 11 but we could have stayed until 1 as complimentary check out. Very roomy & clean. Would not hesitate to book again!

Mary and Bob were fabulous hosts! The pictures do not give this amazing house justice it is beautiful and massive inside! They were so helpful and quick to respond with any questions and help when we ran into an issue with the stove (not their fault at all there was a storm that flipped a breaker) - just want to highlight how quickly they responded and rectified the situation! Great location and highly highly recommend!!

I had a great stay! The place was exactly as pictured—clean, private, and comfortable. Ray and Kayla were communicative, responsive, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Jerry’s place is my absolute favorite Airbnb ever…and I have stayed in quite a few! It is extremely comfortable, super clean, great area and has everything you can think of. I brought my mom with me on this trip and she loved it! I don’t know when was the last time I have seen my mom napping so peacefully. Everytime I go to Cortland I base my trips on the availability dates for Jerry’s place! Book now, I promise you won’t regret it!

HardingBNB was great. It was clean, comfortable and spacious that fit our group perfectly. It was in close proximity to downtown Syracuse and the University. Quiet neighborhood and convenient off street parking. Dave was quick with any communications. I would recommend staying at HardingBNB on your next visit to Syracuse. Linda had everything you could possibly need and more. She even went the extra mile and provided bottled water, a snack basket and enough muffins for each of us. The house was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. There was ample, cozy seating in the family room as well. We highly recommend Linda’s place.

Great quiet place, just out of town. Cute little bagel place close by. Loved the area and will be back if in this area again.

Larraine was an outstanding host—very cooperative and accommodating to our needs. We had originally booked her place for two and a half months for my son’s internship, but plans changed when his company allowed him to work remotely. As a result, he no longer needed the accommodation for the full duration. When I reached out to Larraine to explain the change, she was incredibly understanding and guided us through the early check-out process with ease. I highly recommend her place. The second floor, with its abundance of windows and natural light, was especially enjoyable. Walking distance to nice restaurants and bars and a nice neighborhood.

Full of natural light. Peaceful & private outdoor area with fire pit & hot tub. Beautiful bedroom with luxurious bedding, slippers, bath robes, lighted make up mirror, a perfume collection for guests to use if they wish and more! We cannot say enough good things! Thank you 🩷

Great location right on Cayuga! Perfect for a fishing vacation!

Troy's place is suitable for a summer vacation! It has nice views of the lake and the area was nice and quiet. Although our stay was short, we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again!

Great location. I was in town to attend my granddaughter’s Christening. Took in the casino as well. Enjoyable stay.

What a unique place! Jeff thought of everything one might need while staying at his silo. It was extremely clean and comfortable. He was very flexible and accomodating when our travel plans changed. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and plan another stay in the future.

Great stay! Wonderful visit with 3 adults, we gave my mom the larger room and my sister and I stayed in the room with the trundle bed. The living room area was so nice to spend time planning our day or visiting together at the end of the day. Great walking to breakfast and dinner spots. The location will be even better when the renovations are done by the water. Parking was easy and a great home-base for visiting the manyFinger Lakes locations. My mom said the pillows were so comfortable! Great that there was a hair dryer and even a steamer if someone needed it! Many coffee and tea options in the kitchen.

Comfortable space in great neighborhood. I arrived late at night and it was a bit stressful to find the door hidden in a little walkway but after that very easy to get in. The condo was nicely laid out and the location was fun- walkable restaurants and museums. Bathroom sink was clogged but it really didn’t bother me too much. Nice big washer and dryer and air conditioning to make the space very comfortable. It is on the street above lively bar scene but was pretty quiet inside.

Eileen's place exceeded our expectations. We loved the place and the location. We definitely would come back the next time we were in Syracuse.. We also enjoyed that Phoebes restaurant was so close and the food was good.

This was a great stay for us! Super easy to walk to anything downtown, and parking wasn’t too difficult to come by. Highly recommend, especially for anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway!
