Historic Tain is the ideal base for your Highland get-away. The North Coast 500 and the North Highland Way both pass the doorstep for those keen on cycling and walking. For the golfers we are a short distance to the Royal Dornoch Golf Course as well as having our own 120 year old Tom Morris designed course. The historians among you will love Tain and the surrounding areas for the Pictish Trails, and the Tain Through Time museum will tell of these and The 15th century Pilgrimages. The beautiful beaches of Dornoch, Portmahomack and the Seaboard villages are always worth a visit, you might even see a dolphin or two! The Granny Flat at St Mary's is a self contained one bedroom flat with parking in our driveway. The flat has its own entrance to the side of the building and you'll find a kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom suitable for two adults. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances. As we are busy out and about every morning we can offer bread, cereals, tea and coffee for you to help yourself at your own leisure. The bathroom has a shower with a steam facility and a roll top bath to relax in. It also has a pulley so you can hang up your washing at the end of your busy day. We can provide a lockable area for your bicycles if required, please let us know if we can help or provide anything else.

Situated on the North Coast 500 route our place is close to the shops, the train station, bus connections, the sea, the park, the golf course and the famous Glenmorangie distillery. A self contained guest suite with your own front door, sitting room/kitchen, within a family home. Bedroom with shower(in bedroom) and the exclusive use of separate toilet. Part of our family home, but separated by a wall and a lockable door. Friendly atmosphere. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
