Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay again!

One person was absent, so 7 friends used it! The view from the inner balcony was superb and the morning sunrise was also very beautiful. The BBQ space in the outside garden is also in the shape of an irori, and you can sit with your legs thrown out in the middle, and the distance is close, so I feel like I can have a better time than a regular BBQ! It was also great to have a cushion to sit on, charcoal, and a grill, and to be able to do a BBQ with only the ingredients. When you rent on Airbnb, there are many BBQ stoves, but charcoal is still good for BBQ.😊 I hope to visit you again when I stop by nearby!

Previously booked this airbnb after a friend booked a similar airbnb next door to the current one last year when i came to Osaka. Really convenient and good pricing for an airbnb as its a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall a good experience too since they have amenities which are able to accommodate the trip for me and my friends and a host which is responsive and friendly to our needs

A great place a bit out the way, I would definitely stay again .I would recommend to rent a car or a bicycle to get back at night. the local Transit shuts down 8ish. but a very nice place. just look for all the boats.

Definitely one of the best airbnb I stayed in ! Traditional, clean, roomy, well located. I would definitely come back as soon as I will be around. Nagahama is a great city and deserves a few days on site. I cannot think of a better place than Masahiro’s to stay and enjoy a slower pace.

It is a gorgeous place located really close to Inari shrine and plenty of Izakayas. We had a lot of fun staying here as a group of friends.

This lovely home was a delight to stay in. Lovely authentic touches, a great bathtub, good kitchen and serene and comfortable bedrooms. The neighborhood is great for biking, there is a nearby shopping street and plenty of conveniences. Emily and team were responsive, helpful and friendly. Were I to come back to Kyoto, I would absolutely stay again!

The home is incredibly cozy and spacious, with a stunning inner garden that brings such peace and serenity — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It beautifully blends traditional architecture with modern comforts and technologies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. I couldn’t be happier with our stay — we enjoyed every moment and left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

Pro - Its a very good place. The kitchen cutlery is complete. The scenery is amazing. Clean and wifi is good. Definitely come again! Cons - bathroom only 1. So takes a lot of time. The view is great but the location is far from town. Need to travel 40mins just to reach town. So waste time there.

The place was wonderful, and description was perfect. It was walking distance to food, massage, and close to train station. I highly recommend if you are visiting Kyoto.

A great apartment that's easy to find and get inside. It's not that close to the castle nor the station, but there are a lot of restaurants around. The rooms were spacious and clean, though the shower head was fairly low. Would recommend!

I stayed with my infant. A very large and lovely old house with a courtyard. It rained heavily on the day of our stay, and the next day we couldn't do much sightseeing outdoors, but it was a nice time to relax listening to the sound of rain in the courtyard.I was happy to see the children, who usually spend their time in a small room, playing hide and seek and running around the corridors in a surprisingly large house.It was an unforgettable night in a space completely different from the usual hotel.Thank you very much.

Sakaean is a special home. It provided a traditional Kyoto home with modern amenities. It’s a family home passed down through generations. The host spent years traveling internationally and incorporated her experiences in the home that provided us a great experience. The host was very helpful with tourist advice and even booked dinner reservations at a traditional restaurant that only spoke Japanese.
