Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tavira

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

The views from the terrace where we sat in the morning with our breakfast were stunning and in the evening we sat in the garden watching the sunset . Very easy to get to supermarket and a few restaurants. Absolutely loved this place.

This was a great base for a holiday in Tavira. The accommodation was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean and tidy with well thought out decor. We particularly loved the well equipped kitchen. Manuel, our host was very responsive and even though we got to Tavira quite late, his Dad was there to meet and greet us. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Carla’s Villa Abaton ,Estoi (pronounced”Stoi”) exceeded all expectations, very spacious ,clean ,comfortable and quiet, solid structure keeping noise in the Villa to a minimum to other rooms. Will recommend Villa to anyone who wants an authentic (Rural)area to stay in. Top stars go to Carla’s Villa

Such a beautiful setting for this perfect holiday escape. The house is stunning, the terrace offers view across the hills, and the pool is perfect. We had a fabulous break here. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and offered suggestions for local amenities, and were spot on about the local beaches! Would definitely recommend.

What a perfect location. East access from the train station and quick walk to all the restaurants. The apartment is as described. Very comfortable. The stairs to the upper floor to the king bed and the patio are very steep. Not bad to go up. But coming down, be careful. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Leonel’s apartment is perfect for a stay in Tavira. The apartment is so spacious, with a large balcony, perfect for enjoying the old town of Tavira. Within 5 minutes to the river, it’s a great spot. Peaceful and quiet, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. Spotlessly clean, with everything you need for your stay. There is a mini market within a couple of minutes walk, and also free parking nearby. Highly recommend Leonel’s apartment.

The place is ideally located with a short walk to the old town and river. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again and get to stay in this beautiful little house.

Aníbal and his wife are such a lovely couple and are most helpful in providing information on what to see, how to get there and where to eat. The apartment is charming and cosy and the terrace is lovely. The minute we walked in we felt very much at home. Location is great - everywhere is walkable. It’s just across from the neighborhood bakery that we had breakfast there. We walked to the boat jetty to take a short ride to the lovely beaches of Tavira island. Altogether a wonderful time in Tavira. And we’ll certainly recommend Anibal’s place.

we loved staying here. the most serene private place with a gorgeous fruit tree field surrounding us. place was spotless and we were assisted with getting in on arrival. everything went smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a more lovely experience ☺️

Very nice apartment studio only some footsteps away from the center. Small balcony to have breakfast or chill after a busy day. Nice beaches within a 15 minutes drive. Susana is a very nice host, professional and friendly. We recommend this apartment as a top choice for Tavira and would return any time.

My friend and I had a lovely 9 night stay in Ana & Pedro’s modern, sleek & stylish apartment. The road was very quiet and so close to all the amenities, restaurants, bars, supermarket, shops and river. Having been to Tavira before, we knew our way around anyway. Although we never actually met Ana or Pedro, as the apartment is managed by a property agent, everything went well and in fact their office is just round the corner. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a comfortable stay in Tavira.

Fantastic place and stay, we spent most of the time on the balcony - brilliant to have so many lounging/seating options. The place had a lovely personal touch and really liked the thoughtful lighting - made it all very relaxing. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

What a wonderful apartment,everything you needed for a long or short stay , bed was very comfortable,pillows were so good I went and bought same ones from ikea to take home . Bathroom was very nice ,large living room and bedroom ,2 min walk to supermarket,15 min walk from Tavira .Easy to use Uber to get taxi to mar shopping center in Almancil around 23 euro each way .Had a great holiday in this apartment

We had a lovely time! What a unique stay! We loved having the pool to use on a quiet day or to refresh as we explored the area. As a family of 4 we had more than enough space. The parking is also super convenient. The host was very helpful with our questions. They also provided many local recommendations

My husband and I have stayed in this apartment twice time, we spent some pleasant weeks. It is very comfortable, every detail is think to make you feel good, like candles and air fresheners. The kitchen is equipped, you can easily cook, in the bedroom you sleep very well, fantastic pillows and bed, bathroom with large shower. It has a nice balcony with a pool view. The area is quiet, close to the Tavirw center, the supermarket, the shopping center. The owner, Joana is the best lady, always available to give you advice, punctual in communicating information for check-in and check-out. She responds quickly to questions. The apartment is recommended

What a pleasant surprise! Cabanas de Tavira is a lovely place . We loved the beach, specially with kids, lots of shells and very calm ocean. My girls loved the swimming pool, and the apartment is walking distance to the restaurants and shops for a night stroll. We would definitely return. One of the nights my girls wanted to watch the evening show from the hotel, a bit pricey to what it is, but apart from that everything was great!

Great place with beautiful swimming pool

We spent 12 days in May in this beautiful apartment. It is clean and very well equipped; also many small things are available in the kitchen. The bed has a good mattress and very good pillows. We slept really well - also because it's so quiet. The apartment is beautifully bright and very comfortable due to the two balconies to the east and to the west: you can always choose whether you want to sit in the shade or in the sun. You are quite quickly on the beautiful beaches and also the restaurants, cafes and shopping in Santa Luzia are within walking distance. Arnaud and Paulo are very good hosts and very charming. We will be happy to come back!
