The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

Vidar & Osp have a beautiful farm property with horses & sheep and all the necessary amenities for a peaceful stay. Their communication is on point and they are happy to respond to a guest's requests. The kitchen is well stocked and the rooms & common areas are adequate for anything a guest might need. We would love to come back and stay if we ever visit the area again.

Nice place, room was clean and organized, kitchen and toilets had all necessary amenities. Pictures matched the place and had beautiful views around, nice for a little walk and some interaction with the horses. Location is easy to find. Host was friendly and the check-in/out process was a breeze. Overall a pleasant stay in a typical Icelandic homestay.

The host greeted us when we checked in, very lovely lady! The place was cosy, spacious and clean. We got a great view from the window overlooking the mountain. Great kitchen amenities and the shared spaces was sufficient. Amazing location as there is a nearby waterfall which parking is free and an incredible canyon hike about 25 mins walk from the accommodation. Highly recommend this place if you’re doing South Iceland or doing a road trip around the Ring Road!
