There are restaurants, fish and Ica shops as well as local transport to Varberg city center and train station. As a guest, you clean the cottage before you leave. Please bring your own bed linens and towels. Cleaning can be provided for a fee.

The cottage is located near a nature reserve and a hiking and biking trail. Fishing licenses are needed for fishing in the lake. Distance by car: 5 min to Simlångsdalen, 20 min to Halmstad

Unique pigsty outside Borås

A quarter of an hour outside Borås in Fritsla, this brick building was a pigsty 100 years ago. Here you can enjoy nature and Häggån, which flows 10 meters from the house. It is a quiet area with two other residential buildings a few hundred meters away. The house consists of a single large living room of 100 m2 with kitchen, dining area and sofa area with fireplace. Super cozy accommodation almost directly on the beach in Apelviken / Södra Näs. A small cottage of 15 sqm that is located on our property. There is a sofa bed that sleeps 2 people, fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower and TV. The patio has a radiant sea view with wonderful sunsets. The cabin is smoking-free and pet-free. If you are a kitesurfer, windsurfer or SUPer, the location is perfect as you are down on the beach in less than a minute. Final cleaning is carried out by the tenant unless otherwise agreed.

Quiet and peaceful accommodation with Suseån as the plot border. There is a balcony, large terrace, private jetty and barbecue area. The house is newly renovated and has three bedrooms. NEW 2025! Two single beds where before there was only one single bed in the upstairs bedroom. NEW 2024! Two Standup paddleboards! NEW 2023! We now have three canoes available for rent! We have a cozy little red cottage for rent. The cottage is located about 4 km outside Ullared and is perfect for overnight stays in connection with Gekås visits or for those who want to be close to fishing or swimming in Lake Hjärtared. The cottage has four beds, a small kitchen with the essentials, a toilet with shower and washing machine, a living room and a patio. If you need to shop, there is of course Gekås down in Ullared, but there is also an ICA store, pharmacy and Systembolaget.

A couple of kilometers from the cottage is Hiaklitten, a fantastic hiking trail. But it is just as good to hike around the fantastic lake next to the cottage.
