Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

In de omgeving vind je de mogelijkheid voor veel activiteiten zoals natuur, wandelen, zwemmen, kanovaren, vissen, golfen, paardrijden, museumbezoek, winkel en horeca bezoek, steden, fietsen en minigolf. Beautifully located in a rural place with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are steps away. Supermarket 1.5 km. Shield lake at 7 km. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor. Also equipped with a fridge with freezer and oven/microwave. The attractive living room with rural style has a 2 x 2-person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 p/st). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bike shed with power connection ( charging e-Bike)

The Tribe: special loft in elementary school

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. We converted the auditorium of the school in which we live as a family, together with an artist, into a special loft with 3 bedrooms. Downstairs are play corners for children and guests are allowed to use the gym where CrossFit lessons are also provided. Behind the school is a great place with sandpit and picnic table where you look out over the Groningen fields. Relax while your children enjoy themselves!

B and (B) Op Steendam, the Front House

A stylishly furnished B&B, you stay in the restored front house from 1912. During the renovation, the history and the authentic colors of the early 20th century were taken into account. The B&B has its own toilet and bathroom. There is a small pantry with a fridge, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine. There's plenty of closet space for your clothes. The bedroom has a bed with 2 pcs. 80×200 cm mattresses and there is a sofa bed for 2 pers. in the sitting room.

The studio is part of a multi-generational home that has been realized in a former healthcare institution. You have your own place where you can stay with nice coffee shops and restaurants within cycling distance. Perfect place if you want to enjoy the peace & nature, want to walk/ cycle or to work from. Parking in front of the door; private garden with cozy seats. Through the entrance you enter the fully equipped kitchen-living room. The bedroom has a luxury Karlsson box spring with 2 mattresses. From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.
