Das Haus wurde 2017 renoviert und überzeugt unsere Gäste in der Gestaltung des Innenraumes. Hier fühlen sich allein Reisende, Paare und Familien gleichermaßen wohl. Auch für befreundet Reisende bietet sich die Möglichkeit, die benachbarte Strandstuga und Haus Kilstrand gleichzeitig zu mieten und so mit Freunden unterwegs zu sein und trotzdem seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit zu bewahren. På gården finns kor, höns, får, katter, hunden Jack samt en mysig trädgård. Gångavstånd in till byn där ni finner mataffär, pizzeria, lekplats, utegym samt busshållplats som tar er till Trollhättan. Närhet till fiskesjö med egen båt. Här möts ni av tystnaden på Landet, avbrutet med tågen som ibland snabbt susar förbi.

Det är fem minuters promenad till havet och i viken finns en eka som man får låna. På ön finns en fiskaffär och restaurang, också den fem minuters promenad från huset. Naturen på ön är mångskiftande med öppet hav och klippor i väst, små jordbruk och skog mitt på ön.
