We are very happy with our stay. The apartment corresponded to the description and is beautifully located by the sea. Walking distance (or short bus ride) to the center of Arendal. The apartment matched the photos and was open, bright and cozy and well cleaned. Arne is a very pleasant and proactive host who responds quickly and is prepared to help. Highly recommend both Arne as a host and his apartment!

We arrived in the dark. And were absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty of the place! Even in the dark! Every morning, drinking our first cup of coffee and gazing out at the lake, we could not get over the view, the landscape, the tranquility and peacefulness. Went canoeing, fishing, hiking, exploring and swimming (the kids could not get enough of the natural water slides in the area). We had such a remarkable, adventurous and relaxing time. Truly hope we get to return here one day. What an extraordinary place!

We loved it! Unanimously, whether it was the children, the parents or the grandparents. The house has toys, so the children took advantage of them. On the island, there is the possibility of playing tennis, volleyball, soccer, and the like, we were able to enjoy it fully. Being able to go by boat was something that everyone loved. The accommodation is great, with outdoor areas for eating or enjoying. Everything was perfect. Thank you again.

Great, well-maintained, charming and undisturbed little cabin in scenic and quiet surroundings! Everything matched the description and the place absolutely met expectations. The cabin was very clean and tidy when we arrived and we felt at home there right away! Good communication with quick and complete responses from the landlord both ahead of and during your stay. A cozy cabin with cozy and helpful landlord. A place that we are more than happy to visit again! 🥰

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The cottage has everything you'll need. Rune is extremely helpful and quick to respond. We felt completely at home. You can catch perch and trout in the lake; there are a lot of blackberries (nice for the pancakes), a blackberry bush and plum tree, delicious! There is a compost toilet and the water from the tap is not drinkable; but there was water in jerry cans ready. You have to assemble the shower yourself (hot water in a container and attach the automatic shower) but has its charm so outside showering in nature

We had the most amazing couple of days at Mortens beautiful cabin. The views are spectacular and it was very peaceful out there. The cabin is very clean and modern. It doesn’t have running water inside but one can easily manage to do everything one needs to do with the water pump outside. We’ll definitely keep this one in mind for any coming visits and will highly recommend it to anyone travelling the area!!

We had an amazing long weekend at Jegertunet! The place was just as described – incredibly cozy and absolutely perfect for us: six adults, four children around 10 years old, and a happy dog. The kids stayed in the pool from the time we arrived until we left, with the slide, hot tub and sauna as big favorites. The porch became our focal point for playing, barbecuing and relaxing in the sun. We didn't need to bring anything at all – everything was in place and ready to go, making the stay extra easy and pleasant. We explored the surrounding area with great trips to both the sea and the water nearby, and the tennis court was used extensively by the little ones. An extra bonus was the nice trip to Risør with the small ferry, and the fun visit to the aquarium that created a lot of joy for the whole family. We can highly recommend both the place and the landlord – here you really get everything you need for a super holiday. We would gladly came back!

Cozy and nice place. It could be a bit cramped with 15 people in total, children and adults, if the weather had been bad, but we were warned about that in advance. Big plus for flexible check out time.

Great stay. The location and view were top notch. We were especially happy that there was a canoe to borrow and take a trip on rivers. Unfortunately, there was an error with the waterworks when we were there, so the water was dirty. However, this was not something Warda could do about, and she was great at keeping us updated and paid for the water we had to buy during the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilie's apartment in late July 2024! The location in Kragerø can right and easily not get better. When you go out from the building you are in the middle of the busiest pedestrian street in the city with a bustling life and good atmosphere. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, but there is short term parking a stone's throw from the entrance so that you can get tired if you come by car. We parked the car in the long-term parking at Rema1000 on Kalstad; where it costs 100,- per day or 500,- per week. From there you can take a bus for 7 minutes back to the city center. The apartment was large, bright and spotless! Really nice with handwritten welcome letter with accompanying snacks and refreshments ;) The balcony was small, but with a fantastic view and enough space to enjoy the morning coffee and feel the atmosphere from Kragerø city that comes to life! All in all we were super happy - one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! Thank you for us - hope to come back!

Great location

Our family of two adults and two small children had the pleasure of renting Kristina's very cozy summer house in the center of Arendal for 4 days now in July. A small house with lots of soul and charm, a cozy sheltered garden to drink your morning coffee in, and not least; walking distance to everything you need! Within 5 minutes there is a beach, downtown streets with restaurants and cafes, and the harbor with the boats to the surrounding islands. Even though it is very central, the area is also quiet and peaceful, great for families with children. Recommended!

The house of Morten is very beautiful and has a phenomenal view of the fjord . The whole kitchen items are numerous, especially sharp knives. We especially loved the pizza oven. The only improvement would be a boiler. The surrounding and the few made me feel like living in paradise. I will come back again.

We had a great weekend at Anita’s and Eskil’s place! The ocean view from the house is absolutely amazing 😍 I highly recommend this paradise!

The accommodation is wonderfully located in a typical southern environment, even has its own and some private beach spot. Perfect reception, the host makes sure everything went smoothly from arrival to departure. The accommodation is very spacious, even though we were five adults there we had more than enough space.

We had a wonderful stay in this accommodation, which perfectly reflects the peaceful and bright soul of Norway. Everything is thought out with taste, simplicity and comfort. The view is simply magical — a true living painting at any time of the day. The apartment was impeccably clean, very well equipped, and perfectly located to discover Grimstad and its surroundings. A huge thank you to our host for his attentive and discreet welcome. This place helped make our trip a calm, beautiful and inspiring break. We leave with a light heart, with the desire to return.

Fantastic idyllic easy sea arch with great views. Easy access with archipelago jeep.

Beautiful quiet location in the middle of the island. Easy to ride bikes all around the island and plenty of beautiful beaches and nature walks in the surrounding area. Brit gave easy instructions for everything and helped out with anything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather and got to take advantage of the swimming area right nearby🌞In addition, the private patio was great for dinner outdoors. Linda has been nice and accommodating from the first contact. She has given the impression of wanting us to thrive and even tended to freshly baked 😍
