Loved this place for our family of 5. The four bunk beds were great.

This is a truly remarkable property. An historic house in downtown Truckee with a remarkable renovation. The house is pristine and well stocked, everything is comfortable and yet the spirit of the structure from 1865 is well preserved. Brian and Megan are consummate hosts. We were in town this time for a USA climbing youth competition for our daughter (and a little skiing). Brian is an avid climber himself and really made a personal connection with us. We love downtown Truckee, being a block or two from our favorite spots is amazing. This house and it's hosts go far beyond an otherwise lovely town.

We opened the gate to a grass covered, sloped yard with a stone pathway to the entrance of the sweet little apartment that was ours for four wonderful nights. But what truly caught our eye was the pristine waters of the Truckee River. The riverfront met our every expectation--private, beautiful and the sound of the waters rushing along--were utterly refreshing! The apartment met our expectations in every way as well. It was sparkling clean, had all we needed and the furnishings were good quality and quite comfortable. The king bed was perfect and my wife and I slept almost as well as we do in our own bed! (That's saying something!!!) We enjoyed morning coffee & adult beverages at river's edge relishing the sights and sounds of Truckee--even the trains! It was a great stay and a memorable place to celebrate our anniversary. We're already talking about when we might come back up!

We’ve stayed at Chairlift Lodge multiple times and it never disappoints! The cabin is exactly as pictured—super clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are cozy, and the home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It's in a perfect location for exploring Donner Summit, with easy access to Donner Lake, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. Whether you're visiting in summer or winter, it’s a great base for outdoor adventures. Trains do pass by the area, which adds to the historic feel of being along the famous Old Highway 49. The nearby market/deli is also well-stocked for any essentials. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our group stay. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. The property had everything needed for a trip. 5/5 star rating, would book again.

Perfect stay for group ski trip in Tahoe, place is most comfortable for a group of 5-6 but can pack in 8 if needed

I stayed at this lovely home when I was in Truckee for a wedding and it was perfect for my stay. The home was clean and cozy with clear instructions for everything. It is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, towels, extra blankets, and more. The layout and location were ideal and in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a big driveway and a garage you can park in. Sean was easy to communicate with and responsive. I didn't need to reach out to him, but it was nice to know he would be available. I would easily stay here again the next time I am up in the Truckee area.

We loved staying at Kate’s place! It was so cozy and close to so many fun hikes. She was a great host and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Anastasia was a wonderful and responsive host. She was incredibly helpful and flexible, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Her kindness and attentiveness really stood out. The place itself was charming and beautifully quiet — a perfect, peaceful retreat. Highly recommended!

Really beautiful view! Cute area with restaurants within a 10 min driving distance. A lot of cleaning instructions - washing dishes, taking out trash, washing linens and one of the beds had no pillow cases. Other than that, I would stay again

Best part, they had a EV charger.

Marci’s place was great for our first time to North Lake Tahoe. It was just my husband and I plus our french bulldog. The home was roomy and great for my pup to access the yard easily. The jacuzzi was such a great way for me to unwind as I worked remotely most of the week. Kitchen and living space was great for our needs. The master bedroom was a good size but the bed is really high, very firm and really squeaky. I preferred the kids bed in the smaller room haha. The location is good but is on an inclined street. Not a bad walk to the local beach but you will have to cross the main street with fast traffic. I didn’t attempt to use the kayak cart as it would’ve been hard for me. All in all it was a good place for our trip.

The place was really nice and comfortable. Daniel was also very nice and very helpful through out our stay. I definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay! Beautiful location, the private pier access was a wonderful surprise. Very close to everything, lunch at Gar Woods down the street was 10/10. The toilet lever was a little touchy, but nothing detrimental to our visit. Kitchen not being full size was not a problem for us, had everything we needed and we really didn’t feel like we were missing anything. Beds were comfy, plenty of space, some of the outlets are a little awkward to get to but again nothing terrible. Overall a genuinely great stay, we wished we had booked for longer! We can’t wait to come back.

Really enjoyed the time here. Location is super easy to find. Mick is a great host and very informative. The place was equipped with everything you need. It’s pretty close to Tahoe city as well. Would definitely love to stay here again!!

The space was perfect for a stay local to the town! Nearby is the lake, and bike rentals! Each day we would walk around and go to Safeway or Starbucks nearby. The place had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable with. Tracy was also so accommodating when a snowstorm changed our plans. We still stayed there for 3 days total and had a wonderful time in the area! A very simple and comfortable stay!

The place is clean, well appointed, and a great location close to resort. Hosts go out of their way to make a first class experience with several nice amenities including stocked coffee bar, well equipped kitchen, and a nice welcome package sitting in each bedroom. The place is awesome for the price.

There's no closer ski-in / ski-out condo in the village than the ones in Catamount! What makes this one special, though, is that it's so quiet with the balcony facing the mountains, and the massage chair is a real luxury! Excellent stay overall, will definitely return!

This condo feels like a home-away-from-home the moment you walk in. It’s tucked in a peaceful spot just minutes from Lake Tahoe, yet blissfully quiet at night. The kitchet is well equipped, the living room is awesome, and the beds are super comfy. If you want a stress-free base for exploring Tahoe—or simply for curling up with a book while pine trees sway outside—look no further.

Nice, cozy space that had everything we needed. We were there off-season and so it felt a bit isolated as we seemed to be the only people in the building. Also, the snow pack was so high there was almost no light coming through the window, though that couldn't be helped!

This is our second time staying in Northstar and this time around we really liked the condo we stayed in. The kitchen was newly remodeled and it fully loaded with all the basic essentials to make a meal. The deck off the living was a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and bird watch. My family had a great time playing with the mini foosball table and we loved the rec center. So much to do! The rec center staff were very helpful and polite. We look forward to booking again in the near future!!

We really enjoyed our quick overnight stay! The location is 10/10, very accessible and close to Tahoe Donner adventure center. The host, Dani, was extremely communicative and gave us recommendations for snowshoeing. The condo was very clean and comfortable - wish we would have been able to check out slightly later so we could enjoy it more! Would definitely book again :)
