Holiday rentals with breakfast in Truckee River

It was a great place! We had to use the blow up mattresses and one of them didn’t inflate but it wasn’t a big deal. The place is beautiful and it’s in a great spot. Definitely recommend, the master bedroom was so great!

This home was one of the best places we have stayed at for our annual family ski trip. It was so comfortable, yet so spacious! The kitchen was absolutely perfect! We all love to cook in my family and it worked out perfectly. Your kitchen was nicely stocked! It was such a pleasure if we forgot that certain spice, it was in your cabinets. The loft upstairs was perfect for our grandsons and the bedroom. They loved the children toys provided, books, legos, arts and crafts, especially the teepee (that was a hit). The beds were very comfortable! Loved the heated floors! Very quiet neighborhood, the floor plan of your home was great, very spacious but comfortable. We will be back next year!

Judy was quick to respond which made the last minute change in reservations easy! No problem with any! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated.

It was a great place everything was as described and very walkable to lots of different places. Will be back again!

Anthony and Ava are friendly and responsive hosts. Their home is great for families. The neighborhood is lovely too.

We had a wonderful stay at Madison’s place. We were there for 6 days and everything was perfect. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Madison was an amazing hostess — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Ken is an outstanding host. He is extremely responsive, proactive and a terrific, efficient communicator. He also set (at least for me) the gold standard for "before you get here" communications, in the form of a 89 page (!) guidebook to the property, the surroundings, restaurants, ski-shops, where everything is and how everything works. Whoa! When I asked Ken for recommendations for Ski rentals, he steered us to exactly the right place within an hour. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and in every way as described. Zero surprises, which is how it should be. I can 100% recommend Ken and am looking forward to renting from him again.

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

this place is in a great location. right across from the heavenly gondola. very central to a lot of things tahoe had to offer!

Everything was in good shape! We could tell the home was well loved. It was very convenient for the downhill slopes at Tahoe-donner, and had plenty of games / entertainment options inside, as well as enough space, to handle time indoors. Would recommend, especially for any families with kids.

Great place near South Lake Tahoe. We stayed here for 1 night and found the place to be clean, spacious and welcoming. Host was very responsive and offered us early checkin as well as late checkout. Would recommend this place to any family visiting south lake tahoe

We had a great stay! We've rented many condos in Kirkwood, but this was the most convenient. It's right by the lifts, you get a reserved garage spot, a ski locker big enough for a family, and even a fitness center. With the Murphy bed and fold-out couch, the studio was very efficient, as there was a lot of room once we put the beds away in the morning. We especially loved watching the snow fall and the snow cats work through the window. We'd rent it again anytime!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place in Lake Tahoe! The space was quaint, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was ideal—close to all the activities we had planned, which made getting around super convenient. Michael and Tay were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions that made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Lake Tahoe—we’d definitely stay here again!

This is the third time we stayed here. The location is quiet, with beautiful trees and the steady sound of rushing water nearby. The actual sleeping quarters are compact, but provided all the essentials. They host a generous breakfast in a spacious room with a pool table and a nearby hot tub. We plan to keep coming back.

Kelli and Seth were such great hosts. I felt right at home and there was a lot of room for us to hang out. The breakfast was amazing and made with all fresh ingredients. They have a beautiful home with an amazing outdoor area. I only wish that I could have stayed longer. Their dogs are the cutest and very friendly. I recommend a stay here with Kelli and Seth you would be missing out if you didn’t.

It’s hard to describe how magical Jean and Dave’s place is. The moment you arrive, they great you with a warm pickup and private shuttle to their masterfully crafted log home. From there, you’re escorted to your guest room with a personalized welcome and tour of the home. The surroundings are spectacular and highly recommend if you’re into cross country skiing, snowshoeing or stargazing. As hosts, they are so friendly with helpful recommendations, going out of their way to ensure you’re having a great time. It felt like visiting family- we will be back!

We, and our two oldest grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rich's place. It was very secluded, serene and beautiful. Rich is very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our granddaughters were thrilled with seeing the cows, the trails, flowers and especially Bibi, Rich's very friendly and loving dog. They asked us a couple times when we were out and about if we could go back and hang out at the property. The coffee and breakfast Rich prepared were delicious and filled us up and helped get us ready for a day of exploring. the area. Rich is very knowledgeable about the area and has so many interesting stories as well as pointing you in the direction of a great place to go see or a great place to eat. The living space, couches and beds were all very comfortable. Plenty of games to play and magazines and books to read. We all look forward to the next time we are able to stay at Three Sisters Ranch and hear more about the area, hike the trails and enjoy Rich's company.

This historic home was absolutely breathtaking. We felt like we took a step back in time, extremely fitting for the beautiful historic town of Virginia city. I definitely plan on coming back!

Diane is wonderful, just like her tranquil garden and home. She was a great hostess and the accommodations surpassed my expectations. I enjoyed every minute at her home, from the peaceful bedroom space to the lovely hot tub on the balcony deck. Truly a great experience and so close to amazing Nevada City.

Marisa & I had a lovely little getaway staying here overnight.. it was charming and cozy! We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

We had the loveliest stay with Rob and Linda! We spent most of the week exploring Lassen Park and stayed at their place for the last 2 nights of our trip. It was such a comfy, cozy, relaxing place to stay after a week of hiking and paddleboarding. They unexpectedly upgraded our room since somebody else cancelled--such a nice surprise. We loved the location for walking around the town of Westwood and Rob and Linda gave us great recommendations for things to see around Lake Almanor (including an amazing beach spot!). They were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved our room, the amazing breakfasts that Linda made, and the little antique store right downstairs. Thank you for such a special stay and we can't wait to come back again!
