Barn accommodation in Tuscany

Ho scelto questo cottage toscano assieme a mio marito perché cercavamo un luogo tranquillo e sereno dove trascorrere qualche giorno e da Letizia ci siamo trovati benissimo e sentiti a casa. La zona offre qualche passeggiata nel bosco, ma a 10 minuti di auto si trova più movimento nella città di Siena. La sera inoltre abbiamo potuto assistere ad uno spettacolo a dir poco magico: il suo uliveto si riempie di lucciole! Emozionante. A completare il tutto Asia, il cane di Letizia, socievole, buona e dolce. Letizia è stata una host sempre disponibile, educata e precisa nel fornire le informazioni. La sua casa pulita e in ordine. Consigliatissimo!

Echt fantastische plek. Als je op zoek bent naar rustig, super romantisch en genieten van de natuur is dit de plek. Onze kinderen vermaakten zich met spelen op het landgoed en met de dieren. Het huisje was prettig ingedeeld en gaf voldoende privacy.

Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati benissimo nell'alloggio di Guido. È un piccolo paradiso in Toscana. Sarete immersi nella natura e in totale relax. Consigliatissimo!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy. Great location—close to everything we needed, but still quiet at night. No air conditioning but the ceiling fan and windows open did the trick. Very safe and family feel. They do not speak English but it didn't cause any problems.

Marta is a wonderful host and the place is a lovely hideaway. If you like hikes, the place is conveniently close to the famous via Francigenia.

Peaceful and serene place. Very high quality apartments and swimming pool area. The pool was very clean - taken care of every morning. The hosts are very warm and polite.

Lucias Unterkunft ist ein Traum für alle die Ruhe inmitten der Natur suchen. Man ist umgeben vom Wald, einem grandiosen Sternenhimmel und unzähligen Glühwürmchen (zumindest Anfang Juni hatten wir das Glück). Man hört einen Bach rauschen und unzählige Vögel zwitschern, hin und wieder grunzt ein Wildschwein in der Ferne und diverse Katzen schauen immer wieder mal vorbei. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und Lucia ist unglaublich herzlich. Die Anfahrt ist deutlich weniger dramatisch als sie auf den ersten Blick scheint. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Alt i alt, et dejligt ophold der levede op til vores forventninger. Stor og lækker pool, som særligt børnene spenderede mange timer i. Lejligheden ligger er det perfekte sted, hvis man som vi, godt kan lide dagsudflugter til byer som San Gimignano, Siena, Firenze og Chianti-distriktet som helhed

Abbiamo soggiornato in occasione di un concorso ippico di mia figlia. Posizione ottima per raggiungere il circolo per le gare. La struttura è a dir poco perfetta. Il giardino è estremamente curato con prato all’inglese cespugli di rosmarino lavanda e rose ed è circondato da frutteti che producono mele e pesche. Gli appartamenti puliti, le lenzuola profumate sembra di essere a casa. Ci ha accolti Luca che con grande gentilezza è stato presente per ogni nostra richiesta per tutto il soggiorno . Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante della struttura gestito da lui e si mangia benissimo!!! Ottimi sia i primi che i secondi con proposte anche fuori menù. Insomma il soggiorno è stato perfetto !!! Sarà il nostro punto di riferimento ogni volta che torneremo in zona. Grazie Luca

The property was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners of the property , Claudio and Angelica, are helpful and delightful. However, the “host” BoMVillas , who acts as a middleman, was rude and disrespectful when we had a miscommunication. I would not make another booking that was offered by BoMVillas.

It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The house is private, very cozy, and has everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria. Gabriele gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants around the place, and those we visited were amazing. We would love to come back one day!

Loriana’s place was impeccable. Everything as described - comfortable space, wonderful outdoor area and in a great location. But what makes it the most magical are the hosts - they are hospitable, knowledgeable of the area and make you feel part of their famiglia instantly. My daughters left calling Loriana Nonna Lori. Can’t wait to return.

Highly Recommend. Bianca and her husband (and spaniel dog called pearla) were Excellent Hosts and the House was situated in the best area in Tuscany, 20 min away from the centre of Florence, yet embedded in a picturesque panoramic view. Bianca also was very helpful with local guides, trips to the town and city centre; very friendly and warm host. The surroundings and nature was amazing, you will be able to see deers, rabbits, horses, wild pigs and more. The house itself is beautiful and Bianca has 4 amazing unique suits to choose from. We were also lucky to use the pool that looks over the fields. Definitely will return.

Tommaso und Marta sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit selbstgemachten Kuchen und Brot empfangen. Es gibt einen SPA Bereich, den Pool haben wir ein paar Mal genutzt. Ein Highlight für unsere Tochter war der Besuch der fattoria, das wir Familien mit Kind sehr empfehlen. Sogar einen Kindersitz für die E-Bikes hat Tommaso montiert. Es war wunderbar. Wir empfehlen es weiter!

Unfortunately our stay was pretty short (2 nights only), but we loved it a lot and will definitely be back in the future. The house is on a beautiful ground with lots of vegetation and is handled by a caring owner. Inside it looked clean and everything needed was available. Can only recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). As soon as you get out of the car we smelled jasmine. The grounds are so well attended to. Beautiful roses, rosemary bushes everywhere! The pool is much larger than the pictures appear. The views are incredible!! It was the perfect place for us and our adult children with significant others. Our daughters boyfriends family joined us from Great Britain and our other daughter got engaged during our vacation in the backyard of the villa at twighlight. We will never forget this place and the very many memories that it provided. The villa was so comfortable with all the amenities. We were cooking outside and relaxing by the pool daily. Giulia provided a special wine tasting recommendation day of arrival and we also enjoyed our favorite wine tasting right down the road at Corbucci. Do not miss this whatever you do!! Cannot say enough about how great this little gem is- great location for outdoor activities and stunning beautiful scenery. Very quiet on the top of this hillside Road… With lemon trees in an olive Grove how much better can it get! You can see the town of Vinci and way beyond from this height. The hosts could not have been any more kind and generous with their time and suggestions. Simply a wonderful Airbnb!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Ruhige idyllische Lage, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar. Sehr schöner Pool! Maria war eine super freundliche und kommunikative Gastgeberin!

Donata is a great person very friendly and speaks english fluently. her place is up at a mountain with lots of green ,trees and mountains. when we got there she had made us homemade bread , cake , cookies, yogurt milk, espresso machine for us ready for the next morning. . The only problem is that you need to drive a car there and not to be afraid to drive in tiny roads .

Wir waren über die Weihnachtsferien hier und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, der grosse Wohn- und Essbereich ist sehr gemütlich und der Kamin hat eine wunderbare winterliche Stimmung geschaffen. Die Ausstattung der Bäder, der Zimmer und der Küche ist wunderbar, modern und stilvoll. Das Haus eignet sich ideal für größere Gruppen, wobei niemand auf einen Rückzugsort verzichten muss. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Hügel herrlich. Gleichzeitig liegt das Haus der strategisch und innerhalb einer Stunde in jegliche Richtung findet man tolle Ausflugsziele (Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Montepulciano…). Unser Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had such an amazing time! Such a calm and serene atmosphere! The place is quiet far off the main road and in the woods. Nonetheless it is not far from beautiful cities which make great day trips. It is also the perfect place to just relax, enjoying the sun and lay by the pool. The view is astounding and the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a restaurant that serves food, which was very tasty! Would visit again for sure :)

Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage war wunderschön. Die Ausstattung war sehr hochwertig, die Betten waren ausgezeichnet. Da wir leider sehr viel Pech mit dem Wetter hatten, haben wir/ unsere Kinder sich sehr über den Whirpool gefreut. Gerade für Gäste mit Hund sehr geeignet. Der Kontakt mit Daniela war super und auch ihr Vater sehr hilfreich und sehr sympathisch. Danke für alles
