Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Uji

We absolutely loved this stay for our 5 nights in Kyoto. While not convenient to public transportation, we had fully intended to use taxis to avoid the heat when needed anyway. We loved wandering Gion and the nearby shrines and temples in the evenings. Plenty of great food nearby as well as grocery and convenience stores. The bed was so comfortable; the shower pressure was awesome, and the kitchen well-stocked for the few meals we cooked at home. Be sure to spend an evening across the way at the tiny little bar - the owner is super friendly and drinks are perfect.

I have no words to describe how good our experience was at this apartment. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was spacious and clean. I felt like it fully encompassed the Japanese living experience. Mikiko was kind and friendly, always answering our questions and giving us recommendations for things that we wanted to do. Thank you so much! We will be back :).

Loved this beautiful and elegantly appointed house. Small zen gardens outside the large windows. We were only disappointed in the combination washer/dryer because of long cycles and the door stays locked for a long time to cool down. Keeping loads small works best. Even then be careful to allow plenty of time. Conveniently located to train and bus transit with many small stores close-by. In a clean small side street , so quiet and private, but near a major street and the river with great paved trails.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional Japanese-style home in Kyoto. The house perfectly blended old and new, with charming touches like tatami mats and modern comforts. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal — just a 5-minute walk to Nijo subway station and within 10 minutes of Nijo Castle, one of Kyoto’s main attractions. Our host, Hori-san, was incredibly welcoming and shared great local tips that enriched our trip. She also gave us a warm tour of the house, helping us feel right at home. We highly recommend the ‘Memory Kyoto Bike Tour,’ which starts just five minutes away. We’re so glad we chose this place and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and comfortable stay in Kyoto.

Kazuma’s house was really spacious and beautifully traditional. The location is very close to a train station and neighbourhood has a lot of great places, that Kazuma recommended. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would come back! :)

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The apartment was impeccably clean and cozy, well stocked and we loved the amenities they provided. The hosts were also very clear in the directions and responsive, thank you!

The place was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, elegant, and had all the comforts of home. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was laid out well. The location was also fantastic: very convenient for accessing multiple train stations and only a few minutes from great areas to explore in Osaka.

First of all, I would like to acknowledge Eri’s patience in addressing all my queries for my trip to Kyoto. She was kind enough to answer all of them. Now, about the location, the airbnb is at a fantastic location. You have two metro stations within walkable distance—Inari Station and Fushimi Inari Station. The Nara Line and the Keihan Line operate in those stations. This connects you to Gion, Kyoto Station and other parts conveniently. The airbnb. The place isn’t generously big, but it can comfortably accommodate a couple of boarders at a time. Facilities are plenty; from Microwave, Kettle, Iron, to Washing Machine, every thing is available. Convenience is plenty here. The famous Fushimi Inari Shrine is five minutes away. There is a Kimono Rental Shop right downstairs. I felt that the place accommodates a lot at a reasonable price. It may not be too spacious, but it is good enough for comfort. Would highly recommend it!

Perfect place and location!

Bonne situation géographique, proche du Kinkakuji (20min à pied !) et d'un super onsen/sento tattoo friendly (et ça au Japon c'est pas évident à trouver !). Plusieurs lignes de bus à proximité donc facile de se déplacer dans toute la ville sans avoir à faire de changement ! L'appartement est spacieux, le lit est super confortable et il y a une machine à laver sur le balcon ! Kaz san est vraiment très gentil, toujours à l'écoute si on a une question ou un problème. Je recommande vivement ❤️

이만한 가격에 이만한 위치의 숙소는 찾을 수 없다고 생각합니다! 게이한선 역에서 도보 5분이내이며 동네도 주거지역이여서 조용하고 좋았어요. 숙소도 깔끔했고 무엇보다 화장실이 깨끗해서 목욕하고 쉬기 좋았습니다! 호스트분도 너무 친절하셨어요

Muneo-sans place was great exactly as described and a great value. Great guy, very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended to anyone interested in staying in the area.

This air bnb was close to everything we wanted to do while in Osaka. Lots of great restaurants and shops in the area. I also really loved that there was a 7/11 on the bottom floor. I would recommend Summers place to anyone!

ที่พักหาง่าย ใกล้รถบัสมากๆเสียดายแค่ยังห่างสถานีรถไฟพอสมควร แต่แถวที่พักร้านอาหารเยอะและเปิดดึกด้วย มีทั้ง Macdonald และ ข้าวหน้าเนื้อที่เปิด 24ชม. Starbucks ที่เปิดดึก ไม่ว่าจะกลับมาดึกแค่ไหนก็ไม่ต้องห่วงเรื่องของกินเลย(แต่ระวังรถบัสหมด)

we had a pleasant stay. place is near to Namba and Nippombhasi station which was very convenient to move arroud.

Great value for a quiet stay in a traditional neighborhood just off the subway line. Easy access to rest of city. Apartment was spacious and provided a traditional Japanese living experience. Would stay again.
