House holiday rentals in University District, Seattle

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Amazing stay right in the heart of downtown. So easy to walk to Pike Place Market and conference center. So much to do in Seattle that was easily accessible from this location. Target underneath a huge plus for things we might have forgotten to pack. Taylor was very responsive and available for questions or concerns. Beautiful condo with amazing views. Amenities in the building (gym, pool, sauna, hot tub) were amazing. We were sad to leave, but can’t wait to come back to visit in the future.

Absolutely a great place to stay and perfectly located to everything you would want to have and see. A parking spot is available, but it’s so easy to get to her place from the airport and we would highly recommend using the public transportation and forget the car. Enjoy Seattle on foot. No shortage of interesting things to see on foot. This was a wonderful place to stay with great amenities and safe and secured access to the building. We will be back and this will be our go to place to stay anytime we come to Seattle in the future. A shoutout to Judy for being a great host.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

The place was great location , didn't expect it to be close to the center but yes I chose the right location close to everything. As for the host she was kind, quick to respond, and the cleanliness was top-notch. again walking through the trees,forest kinda to the house was the best peaceful thing ever happened to me since the year began. I think i will just make this my second home every time I'm in town.

If you love cooking in a well stocked kitchen, if you love a shower with phenomenal water pressure, if you like to start or end your days in a clean beautifully kept sauna and wake up to sun drenched living and dining rooms, look no further. This lovely home was a retreat and great to return to at the end of our days sight seeing and traveling around Seattle and the Washington area. The hosts were responsive proactive and had wonderful suggestions on places to visit!

I cannot say enough good things about our hosts but also to their cleaning team! House was very homey, lots of extra bedding and towels. All the kitchen things needed to cook big meals for my family! And wow! The games and being baby friendly was so nice! The scenery beautiful and private location! I would recommend anyone with a family to book this home and don’t look elsewhere!

Colin and Robin were super gracious and lovely hosts! I had to spontaneously relocate for a couple of weeks locally in seattle, and they were extremely helpful from first comms to the end of the stay! It’s a rad neighborhood with a ton to do, their place gives you an opportunity to recharge and relax only a few blocks away from the action so you can get going back out into the city. Super close to bus lines, light rail, food, bars, parks, live music. Very reasonably priced and couldn’t recommend more highly!

Six stars. Darcy’s place is so beautiful. It even smells amazing. I spent a lot of time in the house and backyard, but the location is awesome too. I think montlake is one of the prettiest places in the world, and Darcy’s place is one minute from Interlaken Park and close to great coffee shops / bakeries. Darcy was helpful and responsive.

Jennifer’s place was the perfect spot for my wife and I to stay while celebrating and spending time with our daughter who was graduating from University of Washington. It was a beautiful neighborhood where we enjoyed evening strolls and walks to nearby restaurants. Everything was convenient and Jennifer was a great host!

The house looks like the photos and was very clean but we were unclear on the fact that it is 3 floors not 2. Lots of stairs to get up to the master bedroom with a suitcase. The living room could use more furniture and a more comfortable couch. There was some wear and tear to the carpet, walls and window dressings but all in all a very nice house. They were out of laundry soap and dishwasher soap but very responsive in ordering laundry soap when needed. There was no parking permit, but there is one designated parking spot. We found all 3 beds to be very hard to the point of being uncomfortable but everything else was great.

The home was wonderful, and the hosts were very kind, accommodating, and attentive for my weekend trip! They allowed me to check in early which was very appreciated! The home was clean and they were very helpful and responsive. My only issue was the upstairs neighbors being very loud at night, it was unexpected but the hosts did offer to help. Everything was close by and the parking spot, though tight, was very helpful because street can be hard to come by. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

We loved the space. Great views. Windows for days. We even measured some spaces in the house to incorporate into our home build. It’s not a large home but it feels so spacious with all the natural light. Truly feels like home. It’s not a cheap rental but the value is all there. We would love to return sometime! Zero complaints and I’d highly recommend the stay for anyone looking to visit the area.

Our third or fourth stay here! Such a lovely airbnb with comfortable furniture and a nice little kitchen. Everything is just as pictured, and the hosts are great with communication. It was such a convenient location for us! The hosts provide coffee, snacks, and wine, and the kitchen has everything you could need. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer as well. Would definitely recommend!

Such a cool place, loved staying here! One of those places where I’d rather keep it my own secret so I can sang it whenever I’m in town :)

This is my second stay at Luke’s house and I still love it. The living room and yard are great places to relax, and the kitchen is a great place to cook. Will stay here again and again while my daughter and son-in-law live in the Montlake area.

This is an amazing home. So tastefully decorated, so well equipped, so clean that it naturally felt like home. This was the perfect stay for a few days near University of Washington. I walked daily to the grocery store, used Uber & Lime scooters to get around, ran a load of laundry available, strolled the quiet neighborhood, and relaxed on the comfortable furniture. Check-in was easy, the hosts were communicative, and everything came together perfectly. I enjoyed my stay here and am very excited to return again in soon.

Alan was excellent host, location was fantastic for our needs, found everything to be as expected based on description and photos. Well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

This is a spacious welcoming place to stay. The bed is very comfortable. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t eat out at one of the numerous restaurants within walking distance. We could walk to the grocery store and CVS, as well as restaurants offering many different types of cuisine. We enjoyed visiting the bookstore located below. Parking was easily available right in front for loading and unloading and we found a nice place to park less than a block away for the rest of the time. It was surprising how much of the outdoor noise was blocked once inside the home and with my Calm app making ocean sounds, we both slept soundly each night. If you can handle stairs and don’t mind being in a busy part of the city, this is a great place to stay. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Seattle.

We had 3 adults and a toddler stay at George’s place! It was easy to access and a great location for where we spent most of our time (in the Fremont/Ballard neighborhoods). The pack n play and stroller were super helpful to have available.

Had a lovely stay here! It was perfect and I'm going to steal some ideas for my own ADU. Very well appointed. Loved the real plants inside and fresh garden flowers! Would stay here again!

Spencer was an excellent host, responsive from the start to the finish. The house itself was MASSIVE and had more than enough space for our needs. It was clearly well taken care of and cleaned excellently prior to arriving. He made the entire process easy and was flexible with our arrival and departure which was extremely appreciated. The area itself is beautiful, quiet and very walkable to food/markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
