The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. The apartment has a total of 10 beds divided into 8 beds in 3 bedrooms and a double sofa bed (2 children or 1 adult). There are 2.5 bathrooms and washing/drying facilities. Two TV rooms with Apple TV and Xbox for gaming. Ceiling height of 6.5 meters in the living room and large panoramic windows provide a wonderful experience with a huge view! Lykkeboden at Spikketrå farm

A stay in this unique and historic building feels like a journey back in time. Lykkeboden is a small house in the courtyard. The building was previously located on a plot of land down in the valley where the farm people lived in the summer when it was harvest time. The unique building was rolled down and set up and restored in the courtyard in the 1990s. A few meters from Lykkeboden, a new building with a new bathroom with all amenities has been set up. At Spikketrå farm we have sheep, dogs and cats, and a child-friendly yard.
