Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Varese

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

We have an excellent stay on the lake. Beautiful views and in a quieter area away from crowds!

Good place fully equipped, washing machine, central heating and good water pressure in the hot shower. parking space avaliable in the front of the property and welcoming hosts.

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

The most breathtaking view ! Perfect spot only 10 minute walk to the town of Dervio. Easy to get the Ferry and explore other spots along the lake. 10/10 recommend!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

The little house is a five star property with clean and comfortable furniture, amazing garden and breath taking lake views. We had all the amenities we needed for the entire stay and kathi have been very helpful. If you book this property, prepare to have an amazing private space but prepare to walk down some stairs to reach the little house.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Ornella's apartment is superb: refurbished, you feel at home. Nothing is left to chance, everything is functional. The only downside is the access to the accommodation: old gate on the street difficult to open, and to access Ornella's house, it is better not to have a vehicle that is too large.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! The views are out of this world and the place is spacious, beautiful, and quiet. I will most definitely be coming back. 100% I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Lake Como. Renting a car is advised, we rented one in Milan and drove.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Clara's apartment. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and Clara helped with tips & hints. The nice family with their young dog and the little goat was just fantastic. The boys and I were totally happy and thankful to.have the opportunity to stay there. Thanks for everything, Clara!

I always experience it very pleasantly when I am in an accommodation with a well-equipped kitchen! That makes me happy:) it is a pretty big apartment, lots of space and everything is taken care of..even butter, jam gluten-free crackers etc were ready. this was a very nice landing!!thank you very much!!!

Beautifully designed apartment in a dream location

I had a long stay at Francesca's apartment. Without any hesitation, she was a kind of the best host anyone could get. Francesca even provided a cleaning lady to come to the apartment every week. Additionally, the place was super close to the train and bus stations with a very walkable distance to the city center. The place was spotless, well-furnished and the view from the balcony could be one of the best in town. I am sure you will not be disappointed if you stay here!!

We spent a wonderful week's vacation in Vares and this place was excellent😊. The apartment was very clean and practical and everything you needed was there. There were a few stairs to the apartment, but we managed easily even with wheelchairs. The apartment was conveniently close to the center of Varese, where you could walk. A large Lidl can also be found nearby.

We felt at home with Sonja from the first reception. We lacked nothing in the apartment. It is fully equipped for physically disabled guests, including sewing kits and small board games. We felt a family atmosphere throughout the premises, with toys and equipment for children. Sonja was always obliging and helpful to us. A stay that we already count among our most beautiful holiday accommodations and can recommend without reservation.

By far the best airbnb during my trip to Italy. This place has all the accommodations you would need and more. I wish I could take this airbnb with me for the rest of my trip.

It’s a no brainer to stay here. Fully immersed in the lake. Moon light at night on the water and during the day you watch classic boats. You’re on the quiet part of the lake and arguably the most beautiful part of it as we drove the whole lake for 5 days. You’re surrounded by Italians and more engaged with Italian culture here. You’re a 25min drive to Menaggio where you can car ferry. Car is highly recommended. I would go to a larger supermarket prior to coming as there only seemed to be mini limited markets around.

We enjoyed our 4 days very much! Very nice, clean and well equipped appartment, 10min walk to the lake, lake views, several supermarkets around the corner. Highly recommended! :-)

Mavi’s place was just as described: a beautiful location with very comfortable spacious accommodations and stunning lake views from both balconies. Mavi was an attentive host with great local recommendations for dining, swimming and sights to see. Mavi and her mother Carla also helped us make dinner reservations, saved us from a parking faux pas, and picked us up when no taxis were available. They were such thoughtful and kind hosts, and we highly recommend Mavi’s place.

The place was beautiful, unique, on Lake Como with direct access to the lake. I think it’s the perfect place to relax, sunbath and enjoy the lake. Beautiful table to eat outside. It was also super clean ! We knew there would be stairs, it might have been a little bit more than we expected (80)! But the owner was really nice and offered to help us as I do not travel light ! Highly recommend renting a small car/Vespa as public transport are not reliable and the only Ubers available are the black uber which are more expensive. We had a série 4 bmw to give you an idea, I would say that if your car is much wider than that it will be a little tight to go down the driveway, but doable. The parking itself is huge. There is a portable A/C, we went in June and didn’t need it as the breeze from the lake was enough to keep us cool at night. Owner was also nice enough to let us do part of our wedding photoshoot at her beautiful Villa ! Unique experience, we really loved it !

I couldn’t speak highly enough of our stay. Beautiful apartment in a very well situated area. Marco always replied so promptly and always went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much again Marco for making our stay that much extra enjoyable in an already stunning part of the world.

Fantastic. Accommodation kept simple inside, sparkling clean and everything you need - even air conditioning. 10-star view, pool and really an absolute dream. Roberta was always available, the check in was without problems and we were very warmly welcomed. Absolute recommendation.
