Welcome to beautiful Vesterøy at Hvaler! Here is our idyllic cottage with lovely views and proximity to the sea, beach and hiking areas. Within walking distance from the cabin you will also find the grocery stores, it is 10 min to drive to Fredrikstad and we have a boat a stone's throw from the cabin that you can also rent. The cabin is newly renovated; has running water (shower, toilet, dishwasher and washing machine) , internet and TV. Two large terraces with dining area and sofa/lounge. Fire pit, grill and pizza oven.

From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord waters, hiking and biking. Possibility to rent a DRINK and kayak. From this apartment centrally located on Hvaler, you have immediate proximity to the lake and great archipelago nature. At the marina there are guest places for boat for a fee(guests must check for availability themselves) This is a great starting point for paddling, surfing, or other water sports activity. Outer Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 m from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

Ikke innlagt vann på hytta. Vann tilgjengelig fra cisterne som fylles opp av regn. Drikkevann tilgjengelig i hytta. Cinderella forbrenningtoalett. Bålpanne tilgjengelig. Ta med egen ved til peisen.Husk å ha med eget sengetøy/håndkle. 10 minutter å gå til busstopp der også vy bussen fra Oslo stopperen

Several beaches with good parking facilities nearby. From the city center on Vesterøy there is a bus both further out towards Skjærhalden and into Fredrikstad. Here you can enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee in the sun, take a walk in the forest, a bath in the sea and explore Hvaler's sights.
