Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Vézère

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

Very nice apartment, nicely decorated. Very well located to enjoy the center of Périgueux with free parking nearby. Be careful with young children as there are plenty of decorations and plants accessible to their height, but that's what gives this apartment a crazy charm.

Our stay at Florence's was perfect. The accommodation is large, the bedding comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was perfectly clean, the pool was very well maintained and always clean, as well as the jacuzzi. With the heatwave during our stay, we greatly appreciated the pool and the accommodation keeps the coolness very well! The surrounding garden is very pleasant for resting, having an aperitif... Lots of tourist sites to visit around. Florence gave us plenty of tips on the surroundings (restaurants, markets...) Very friendly welcome, very nice and warm host. We recommend it!

Great centrally located Périgueux apartment exactly as described. We used the apartment as long term base and were extremely happy to be in heart of enchanting historic district. Well equipped kitchen, with newly installed boiler. Comfortable bedrooms and great internet and TV. Very cool in summer heat. Highly recommend the nearby Le Troquet restaurant and Boukie’s Anglophone bookshop on Rue Taíllefer has English-French conversation group on Fridays at 17.30. Our host Florence and her son Charles were always extremely kind and helpful - we are very grateful to them. Will always have special memories of our stay here and Périgueux is a great base to explore the beautiful Dordogne.

The apartment is extremely well-situated within the old city of Sarlat. You can walk everywhere easily, and the private/free parking spot is an amazing perk. Vincent is a great host and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Warm and friendly welcome from our host, punctuated with humor. The chalet is perfectly in line with the photos, the living room is spacious and friendly, you feel very good there right away, everything is very clean and nothing is missing. Its location allows for many visits radiating all around. We had a great time there.

Beautiful cottage, ideally located far from everything, quiet. For a great chlorophyll bath, it's perfect! Well-equipped cottage, exceptional and relaxing view, open on 3 sides (south, west and north) which allows you to see beautiful landscapes and sunsets. The cottage is very spacious, you don't walk on top of each other even with 6 occupants. The shaded garden is particularly pleasant, especially with the sun loungers provided and the fully equipped barbecue area. Ideal for hikers and people with pets. Garden enclosed by a 1 m wall with a huge field around it. Our two big dogs loved their stay! Bakery about 12 km away (go there not too late to be sure to be served but a freezer at the cottage allows you to store), supermarket 12 km away too. Our hosts, living nearby, were attentive and listened when we encountered a problem with a household appliance; we thank them. Recommended cottage!

The host is very responsive. Description of the house very faithful to the listing. Peaceful and easy to access. The views are beautiful. The house is super cute and nice. It feels like home. Very well-equipped house. The single beds on the mezzanine are suitable for children and teens (not adults). Patrick, his right-hand man, welcomed us warmly and was very available.

We had a great stay at Fabienne's. The garden is large. The pool and spa are very pleasant, and the house has all the amenities and is very charming. The accommodation is ideally located a few kilometers from the most beautiful villages of Dordogne. Fabienne is very welcoming and available. We recommend!

The accommodation offered is a very nice apartment where everything has been planned, nothing is missing as at home. It is clear and well presented. The garden is beautiful with a SPA at our exclusive disposal. Brigitte and Eric are very pleasant hosts, attentive and responsive to requests. They offer us products from their garden. They are very available, but discreet. It is very pleasant to talk with them. The Périgord Noir is rich in castles, gardens and caves. Abundant documentation in the accommodation. We had an excellent vacation and warmly thank Brigitte and Eric for their contribution. We recommend this property without restriction.
