Welcome to the Mont farmhouse - retreat high above the Valsertal Experience the tranquility and originality of the Grisons mountains at 1,500 m above sea level. The farmhouse is located in the sunny hamlet of Mont, part of the municipality of Vals – a real eagle's nest! The journey is via a 3 km long road from Lunschania, which is located on the main road about 5 km before Vals. Away from the hustle and bustle, with a wide view over the valley, the house is the ideal starting point for hiking, relaxing or switching off.

Access (summer) by car in about 7 minutes, on foot in about 40 minutes. In winter, no access by car is possible. (12/20 - 04/30) Food & luggage transport can be booked. The heart of the apartment is the new fully equipped kitchen within the Knight’s Hall (78 m 2). Uniquely, The huge fireplace and the baroque stucco work come from the 18th century dominates the rear wall of the Knight’s Hall apartment. The spacious bathroom (19 m 2) and the bedroom (23 m 2) were also freshened up in 2018. In addition to the outdoor seating area, a parking space is available.

You have a gigantic view of the Ruinaulta, the Flimserstein, Calanda and many different excursion opportunities. Very special in Chalet Balu is the wellness oasis with sauna. If you feel like barbecuing, you can buy our own organic beef products and other regional products.
