Wonderful skiing, hiking and biking area with 120 km of slopes up to 2300 m, cross-country trails (300 m from the house), swimming lake (free), playgrounds, tennis.

There is a 30 m2 terrasse/platform in front of the house with an amazing view to Laax, Vally and the mountains. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, groups and families (with kids). We have two baby beds, high chair and a basket full of toys available for families with kids. You are welcome!

Landscape Architect's Chalet Soapstone Wood Stove

In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

Casa la Runtga is in a wonderful location with fantastic views of Lake Laax, the village and the mountains. The lake resort, indoor pool, wellness, children's ski lift, ice skating and many leisure activities are within walking distance. The ski resort can also be reached in a few minutes by shuttle bus or car. The area offers very special hiking and biking trails. The treetop trail is one of the newest attractions and starts in close proximity.

The family-friendly Chalet Hegy is located 400 m from the valley station of the Tambo ski resort and is furnished with a lot of love. A top modern kitchen with bar and a large fireplace delight the soul. There is now a spa with infrared sauna and a large luxury hot tub for 4-5 people. In summer, the large garden invites you to barbecue. In winter, the children can build snowmen in the garden. An ideal house for one large or two small families.

This biologically lovingly renovated cottage offers you the optimal base for this. If you are flexible in terms of time, you are welcome to request cheap periods from me (prices vary greatly seasonally). My cottage is a drug-free zone for energetic reasons.
