Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. It was all the same as in the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The amenities were very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children on an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline were the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

Super cozy stay. Very flexible, real and service-minded host. Nice area and cozy cottage. Absolutely worth the money.

Marie's cottage was the perfect setting for some really relaxing days in Ellinge Lyng. Walking distance to the water, surrounded by bushes and trees, sunny terrace and cozy, comfortable and stylish decor. Marie communicated super fast and was really sweet and welcoming. We couldn't have wished for more:)

Very nice and peaceful place . Fully equipped house , great location and garden. Perfect for s group of friends or family. The bbq made our stay so much better. The only thing that would make a future stay better is the existence of bedsheets so that we won’t have to bring our own. Other than that the place is totally worth it and fully recommendable. Michael and Ditte have also been very helpful and responsive.

It was great spending time in dortes home. The communication was very easy going and fast.

The house and its location are simply beautiful. It is very spacious and the terrace with the swing can be enjoyed in any weather. It is equipped with everything you might need. You are in the middle of the forest and close to the beach, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. There are many supermarkets and attractions nearby. You can also get to Roskilde and Copenhagen relatively quickly. When we had a problem, we were able to reach Ture immediately and he also immediately took care of a solution to the problem. We felt very welcome.

My boyfriend and I booked the summer house between Christmas and New Year and it was so cozy! Worked really well with the heat. I recommend it!

We stayed a week in Lotte’s summerhouse with our two kids. It is a wonderful and charming house with a big yet cosy garden. Beach is nearby as well as charming harbours. Lotte is a friendly host. I definitely recommend it!

Incredibly spacious home. Lovely quiet place. Great location and great views out to fields. The description matches what's waiting for one. All in all, a lovely home that contains everything necessary for a few nights that we needed it for.

Great place. Spent Easter at Christian's summerhouse with my family. There was everything for the kids (0, 7 and 10) both inside and outside. The kitchen was fully equipped, we could cook great food, coffee, and even baby food, as the kitchen contained all the appliances that we needed. The garden was lovely. Neighbors sweet. The beach was beautiful and the woods calm. Child-friendly entertainment and fine fast food and ice cream at BurgerHjørnet a getaway from the house. We'd love to come again!

We had a fantastic stay in Rudi's cottage. The whole family enjoyed it to the full. Lovely house both inside and out. Beautiful large plot. The grandchildren loved it. Possibility of many activities. Rudi as a host is super easy to communicate with and is very friendly and helpful. Everything perfect. We would love to rent the house again. Also located in beautiful nature.

We had the most wonderful summer holiday in this beautiful summerhouse - 3 adults and 2 children! The house is extremely child-friendly and also has everything a summerhouse needs: -) as a plus, the house is really beautiful and invitingly decorated. Really short distance to the beach and good restaurant/ice/shopping - opportunities close by! Very nice and available hosts who responded right away: -) we would love to vacation here again 😍

The cottage is located on an end plot overlooking nature, which we loved - and the place is decorated with many cozy outdoor nooks. Inside, the place exudes “real summer house vibe.” It has personality, soul and charm! This is not the last time we visit this place 🙂

Really nice summerhouse, with lots of great amenities and perfect if you bring dogs. We really enjoyed the stay and will look forward to coming again ☺️
