Greystone guesthouse is located in Holti sheep farm, Þílfirður and guests are welcome to join us in farm work. Holt stands high in the country, so it offers a unique view of the town's hillside, the extensive heaths, and the Thistlefeld coastline. The houses are 25 sqm and well equipped, with a kitchen, bathroom and sofa corner. Breakfast is served in baskets and is included in the price.

Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Langahlid cottages are set along the left side of Seydisfjordur Fiord just a couple of km from the town Center. Our Cottages are 53 squared meters each and can guest up to six people. Smábót is a small cottage (15 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cottage has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

Ásgarður - A cozy home by the seaside

Summer 2026: As our house is old we are constantly doing maintenance. This summer the maintenance has affected the garden so we are sorry to inform that it is not in perfect shape. Our home is old and quite small but very cozy. It is located by the seaside in our small village with a view over the fjord; the sea and the mountains. Please note our village is a bit out of the way of the Ring Road.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Sæberg, comfort in the fjord

Newly renovated building set in the fjord of Seyðisfjörður, 7 km away from the town centre. The house was a school in the older days but has now been given a modern design with beautiful views and the feeling of being away from everything.
