Vous profiterez de sa grande terrasse et sa vue imprenable sur l'étang aux beaux jours, ainsi que de son intérieur avec son atmosphère douce et cosy, et son poêle à bois pour vos longues soirées.

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

You will find in the immediate vicinity: An international golf course (3 km), a tennis court (5 km), equestrian center 2 km away, canoeing activity 1/4 hour away (Montbron) and Lake St Mathieu or Verneuil with beach 20 km away. In the fall, lots of mushrooms for mushroom lovers!

This traditional Charentaise house and its large garden, offer a relaxing, quiet stay for the whole family, including our animal friends. Located in the heart of the small Templar village of Vouthon, at the gates of Périgord and Limousin, in the center of protected nature and close to the river, this house sleeps up to six people. It consists of a large kitchen, living room, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor and three large bedrooms upstairs.

Charentais house with pool – Chez Petit Jean

This 5-bed accommodation offers a quiet setting in the countryside. The perfect place to get away from it all, even 4G sometimes has trouble. The pool (12x6), secure, spacious is to be shared with the owners, but they are very lending and not very intrusive. Our 2 cats are not very invasive. Bonnie is unlikely to show the tip of her nose, she is rather wild. On the other hand, Bambou, cuddly, will easily come to seek your caresses if you wish.
