Waterfront holiday rentals in Waiheke Island

Hosts met us on arrival. Room was as advertised and was spotless. The location was amazing with sea front views. They communicated well with us and were very flexible with the checkout times. Close to the town centre. We took our car and was eas to find with easy parking on premises. Highly recommend for a weekend away. Will be back

Peter’s AirBNB is gorgeous and well stocked. He was friendly, responsive, and on premise much of our stay (which is a private section of his home), but also great about giving us privacy. We especially enjoyed the pool and charming garden spaces - as well as the breakfast food and tea/coffee provided. A few notes that weren’t fully clear to me before arriving: >Washer is on site but generally not for guest use (though we got the OK to do a couple loads when we asked) > There is no living room or indoor common area of the Airbnb space. > There are gorgeous outdoor spaces with shade covering to enjoy for meals at home - but only bedroom/hallway space available indoors for “hang out space” > The Rotary walk area is easily accessible from this space - and the views are even better than the pictures :)

Well what a view welcomed us as we entered Jos fab place!!! 🤩 We had such a great time. Clean and comfy especially the bed… we slept so well. Absolutely loved watching the bird life from the windows… so many Kingfishers!! The walk way to the beach was really great and such a lovely place to stroll at anytime of the day. Jo was so helpful and friendly yet left us to it giving us our privacy. Everything was great and we have already recommended it to others! 👍

Great location and well looked after appartments. Would be helpful to include beach towels as appartments are right at the beach.

Really nice apartment with a stunning sea view. Had everything we needed. Easy walk to cafes and restaurants (and bus). Beach right in front of the unit - can hear the sea. Loved it! Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a week here as a family. The property is directly opposite the beach which is fantastic for walking down for a beach day whilst still having the amenities close to hand. Onsite parking was convenient and the property was well equipped with the basics. We would certainly book this place again.

Marg welcomed us warmly and showed us her property, which was generously stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It is close to the beach and a variety of restaurants, also the bus that goes into Auckland city. It was perfect for our stay and we would love to return if we were to visit Auckland again.

I cannot recommend Kohi Del Mar highly enough. As a family of four, both on holiday and working, it was a fabulous apartment. Great restaurant options within an easy walk, opposite the beach with great views and 15 mins into town. Treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed and it will feel like you’re really on holiday. Really happy with our choice.

Louise's home was an excellent place for us to start from in visiting Auckland and New Zealand. The Half Moon Bay Marina was only 15 minutes away, where we grabbed a ferry for a day at Waiheke Island and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful home that we really enjoyed.

This has to be one of the best places we have stayed. Beautiful, warm, welcoming home. Very clear instructions of what’s required. Very hospitable host, checking in and making sure we were ok. Thank you very much we loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee's place. It was a lovely house, was very clean and had lots of space for all of us. The area was peaceful, safe and had wonderful views of the ocean. Lee and Joe were wonderful hosts. We appreciated their quick responses and helpful recommendations.

Great house right on the water in Bucklands Beach. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Only a 5 min walk to Howick Golf Course. Or a pleasant 25 min walk to Musick Point Memorial. From here you can descend to beach during low tide and go exploring. Lots of great Chinese restaurants with a 15 min drive. Or take the ferry into CBD. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a beautiful stay at Kylie’s property. The view was spectacular. Everything was well appointed. Super convenient location, close to the sea link ferry. Even though we weren’t lucky with the weather, as it was raining mostly, the location and the views made up for it. Kylie was really responsive and a great host. Highly recommended xx

The garden apartment was lovely and well furnished. Celia went above and beyond in responding to our questions and stocking a few groceries for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and the quiet neighborhood so close to Mission Bay and downtown Auckland. Buses were nearby and easy to get to with a short hike. And the backyard was great to relax in and listen to the birds.

Unbeatable location between beachfront and North Head! We had a lovely stay to decompress and adjust to the time zone, arriving directly from a long flight from Europe. The house provided the perfect location for a few quiet days: swiming and relaxing at the beach, going for morning walks at North Head with panorama views and visiting Devonport's cafes and restaurants. We had imagined traveling into CBD by ferry many days, but in the end we enjoyed ourselves so much locally that we only went in one day. We traveled with a small baby and our contact Abbie provided a cot and high chair for our convenience. It is perfect for adults, small babies and older children, but I wouldnt bring a more mobile baby or an unstable toddler, as there are ledges and open gaps in the stairs. Each night we would sit at the top floor watching the bay and enjoying a glass of local wine. We truly recommend this place!

Great place. aweesome view if you love the harbour and boats. some clubs are loud over the weekend, but listening to live music on the deck is not as terrible as it sounds (and its alot quieter if youre inside with the doors/windows closed). The cafes, restaurants and bars that are on your doorstep have great food and atmosphere. I can recommend Giraffe, White and Wongs, and Wildfire from this trip. The ferry terminal is 5-10 minutes walk from your door, so exploring the islands in the hauraki Gulf is right there. Lots of shopping and malls are 5-10 minutes walk inland. it's a great location with everything very close by and what isn't, is just a short uber or lime/flamingo scooter ride away. Warm, caring host thats very helpful, responsive, and lovely to deal with. Thank you once again Becky.

Maree was a lovely host and her apartment was so elegant and tasteful and filled with pretty things - it was a real treat to get to stay there. :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Irene’s. It was great to be so close to the beach and there were lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. It’s a scenic 20 minute drive to Snow Planet is that is part of your holiday plans. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Irene was so friendly, helpful and caring. We would definitely stay again.

Pia’s place is incredible! Had a wonderful 10 days there. We really enjoyed the location on the beach, all the amenities in the hime and the beautiful sunrise views from the wall of windows. One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Pia was amazing to work with - very responsive and attentive. Could not have asked for a better stay in New Zealand!

Repeat Customer This is just a very special place. We have stayed here multiple times. It feels like our home away from home. It’s just very unique to be in a very private building right in the middle of a fantastic beach town on what is probably the best urban beach in New Zealand. You will love it!

This is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is new, modern and clean. The furnishings are second to none. The location could not be any better. More than all of that, Michael goes above and beyond to be a first-class host. There are numerous extras such as cheese, fruit, fresh artisan bread just to name a few, which makes the whole experience really wonderful. Such a thoughtful host and I would highly recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay! The apartment was clean and modern, and is located in a great spot with lots of shops and a beautiful view! The hosts answered our questions quickly and gave great instructions for check in and check out.
