Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wairarapa

The place was delightful and made an ideal spot for a few day with my grown up daughter and her partner. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay and Martinborough was a lovely town to relax and taste some wine.

Comfy cosy cottage in a great location - easy to walk to the supermarket, Main Street, and the Greytown to Woodside Trail. Super easy check in and loved the lemon cake left for us on arrival. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks visiting family in Masterton. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. There's an open plan lounge, diner, kitchen all beautifully furnished. We easily sat 7 round the table one night. It's a lovely old villa with original features and wonderful art works and quirky objects. Our 2 3/4 year old grandson was over the moon with the trainset, one of a big collection of games and toys. On fine days we loved sitting on the back verandah watching the birds flitting round and listening to birdsong. It was very peaceful. On Saturday mornings it's a short walk to the Solway Showgrounds for the Farmers Market. Joan and Michael are the perfect hosts, very quickly responsive to any queries. I'm so glad we got to meet them. This would be our first choice if we are back in Masterton.

This is the second time in the space of about five months that our team has worked and stayed here. Our Senior Leadership Team came here back in January to do some planning for the year and knew then that we would be back. The home is exactly what we need in that has lots of space, beautiful surroundings to walk around when you need a break, and a spa pool for recovery after a long days work. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious, which meant we were all able to pitch in at meal times without getting in each other's way. Alice is a great host, very friendly and really responsive in her communications. We will definitely be back, so I don't really want to recommend staying here in case others book it when we want it. 😁

Centraly located, within walking distance to the heart of town (Grocery store, Martinborough wine merchant), roomy, quiet with lots of amenities. We had a most wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning place - perfect to unwind and relax as well as having lots of activities on your doorstep. Quick and pleasant stroll to town and the Carrot park which our kids loved! Would definitely recommend!

Enjoy the location. Great hosts. Great for a breakaway from everything but still close to Whanganui to still enjoy the city and the Whanganui people and any events going on.

Julianne’s property is perfectly situated to walk to the CBD and to make the most of the waterfront walkway. The garage is an added bonus. A comfortable space with beautiful views out to the coast. Great for watching the sunrise.

Second time staying there. A great over nighter. A warm welcome by hosts Fee and Gra and their dog Piper. Make you feel right at home. Relaxed in the spa after walking our dog to the beach behind the house, then nice quiet evening indoors. Love coming to this place. Easy to maintain and you have own place and space. We had a great stay at the Station House apartment. The location was ideal to Victoria Ave, and so handy to have an allocated carpark available! The apartment itself was very chic, clean and comfortable. Brian and Tracy provided really clear comms for check-in instructions, finding the place, etc. It was a great spot and I would stay there again when in Whanganui next.

Lynne was very easy to communicate with, nothing was a bother even when we changed the dates of our booking, clear instructions, property just like the pictures, would recommend.

The location is unbeatable. A short walk to the main square with all the restaurants and shops. Even found a new bakery because it was close to the apt. The balcony is lovely in the sun even on a cold autumn's day. Thank you Sue for a lovely stay

Perfect apartment to stay at in Wellington. Everything was as per the booking description etc.

Grace’s apartment is extremely well located for a short visit to Wellington, minutes to Lambton Quay and all the transport options and shopping available there. Considering it is located in the CBD the traffic and city noise is not intrusive , even with the bedroom window open. Lovely selection of tea and coffee available, good cooking facilities should you want to self cater.

We love staying here. Neals place is warm and cosy, great tv, kitchen, lounge and bed. Off road parking and Neal supplies the things others dont

Carol and John are the perfect hosts. Happy to chat and communicate with all aspects of the stay. The place itself is a lovely, spotless and quite place with the sound of nature greeting your mornings ☺️. Will stay again.

Myself and two mates stayed at this Airbnb for two nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This Airbnb is very cozy and relaxing. We felt we were staying in a lovely cottage. Toast, coffee, tea, and more was provided was well. Can't recommend this Airbnb enough.

This is our second time here and very happy that we were lucky enough to be able to book it. This place is absolutely fabulous, decorated with impeccable taste, super comfortable, super clean and it has a beautiful garden to look at and our host was just amazing. It is by far our favourite AirBnb.
