We were warmly welcomed by Horst and he showed us everything that was important. The apartment was cozy and the kitchen very well equipped. We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay and can only recommend the hosts & accommodation.

Our first ski holiday with children of 3, 6, 6 and 7. Both the children and ourselves felt right at home in the apartment. There was enough space to sleep, cook and live with 4 children. Boris shared all the necessary information well in advance and was also available during our stay for questions/tips. The area itself is quiet, yet central. Supermarket and center of Winterberg are easily traveled both on foot and by car.

We felt very comfortable. Our 🐕 was welcome and yet it was not a typical dog apartment, everything very clean. Great that the matching capsules for the coffee machine were available in such sufficient numbers. Our child, on the other hand, liked the refrigerator with an ice cube maker. 😉 Melanie was always available, thank you. That was definitely not our last stay there.

We had a few very nice days in the quiet area at Claudia's. The apartment is beautiful and we were even greeted with a homemade cake! We were very satisfied with the stay and can only recommend it.

Timo was super friendly and greeted me warmly right away. The apartment is modern, well maintained and sparkling clean. The quiet location was perfect for relaxing – highly recommended!

We felt really comfortable with Irina! Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell someone is making an effort. The only small wish: one or two more mirrors would have been great. But otherwise really great we'd come back anytime!

This was the second stay in Carina's beautiful apartment and certainly not the last. The kitchen equipment is very high quality with pots from Le Creuset and so is the whole interior. The lake is just a stone's throw away and there is a parking space at the house. Those who are very sensitive to traffic noise may be particularly bothered by the motorcyclists, but unfortunately you can hear them almost everywhere in the area. The bedroom is at the back, so it is very quiet at night. Overall, a holiday apartment for feeling good and relaxing!

We found a nice, clean apartment. Construction work was taking place in the hallway. The location is very central. Only a short distance to the bus stop and supermarket. Many places of interest are within walking distance. Very nice old houses, plenty of good restaurants nearby. Directly opposite, you could order food and eat in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately, there were no wipes for cleaning. Two bedrooms on the upper floor can only be reached via a very narrow staircase without a railing. There was a rope to pull up. Not suitable for older people. In the smallest bedroom on the ground floor, there were 10 pillows on the bed. Where to go with it if you want to sleep? The living area was spacious and the two bathrooms large enough ... with shower or shower tub. Overall a nice short break. Thank you.

We had a very nice extended weekend in the forest cottage. The communication with Lena in advance and also during our stay was super uncomplicated and friendly. The house is very cozy, we felt completely comfortable!

we thought it was a nice holiday home. everything was present for a nice homecoming rest and food after our bike days in the bike parks in the area. especially the living room with the terrace with wide views was great! recommended for those who love outdoor sports, tranquility or nature!

The accommodation is extremely high quality. Beautiful furniture and a well-equipped kitchen make it easy to feel right at home. 🙏🏽 The communication in advance was super good and everything was as described. I would definitely recommend it. If you arrive with several cars, then definitely check out the parking situation in advance, there are only 2 parking spaces at the house.

Beautiful stylish house with great property located on a stream. No unnecessary bells and whistles, but everything you need. We felt very comfortable. However, you should inquire whether an event is planned at the neighboring community square. The Schützenfest on the last evening is only a stone's throw away, but you won't be able to sleep before 3:00 a.m.

A nice location, with a terrace at the back, where you could sit nicely on the river, and behind the garden. It was a spacious house, with spacious rooms. Even the kitchen was a separate, and very spacious space. Everything was available. Very clean and tidy. Nice hiking in the village. Shops are 4 kilometers away. Edersee 20 minutes by car. Really worth it. A nice spicy walk done there. In short, value for the price.

Super nice! Idyllic, large meadow by the house great for ball game or frisbee, several creeks by the house + various cozy places. Inside everything very tasteful, nice mix of old + new, lots of wooden beams, very different room heights. Upstairs 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Toilet on the ground floor would be more practical, especially since the stairs are a little special, just old building. The remnants of the former mill right by the house ensure a clearly audible perpetual sludge. You can't hear cars passing by at some distance. Directly around the house there are only meadows, water, trees, fields as well as the neighboring house with 2 (?) other apartments. Lots of beautiful views. Brilon can be reached in 5 minutes by car, but you feel very nice to yourself due to the valley location. Weak Wi-Fi, which is noticeable during music streaming and use of the media library, for example. Good fully automatic coffee machine. With all the small criticism or ideas for improvement: we felt very comfortable!

Beautiful house with terrace and garden, many beautiful corners for a retreat during a group stay. Everything you need. All devices functional. Beautiful view from the terrace. Thank you we were very satisfied!

We stayed at Axel's place last year and felt very comfortable again this time. The apartment is well-equipped, nothing is missing and you have everything you need. As always, the contact with Axel was very nice and straightforward. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. We appreciate the good value and will definitely be happy to come back! A completely successful stay.

A comfortable and well-equipped two-bedroom apartment on the top floor of an old farmhouse in the village of Vernawahlshausen, a short drive from Uslar. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment is just under the roof of the farmhouse, so during hot sunny weather it can get quite hot in the apartment. I was there during the heatwave in July 2022, and (being Scottish) there were a couple of days when I found the heat uncomfortable. The hosts very kindly arranged for me to sleep in a spare bedroom on the ground floor of the farmhouse, which was much cooler. Many thanks. I would be very happy to stay in this apartment again if I return to this part of Germany. One other comment. If you're interested in cycling, a good off-road cycle path connects Vernawahlshausen with the very nice Weser Cycle Path. A trip to Hann. Münden is worthwhile, and I recommend the Ratsbrauhaus for lunch.

We had a wonderful 3 days in Winterberg and stayed 2 nights at Steve's place. The location is great, you are at the ski slopes/hiking trails/in the center with fifteen minutes. The house is clean and tidy, with 2 bedrooms with in both double bed.

We felt very comfortable in Keanu's apartment. Was well heated, cozy and clean and everything you need : )

Lovely place! Beautiful building and surrounding. We had some hiccup of our trip and Stanfen was so kind and help us settle in quickly, making great recommendation of local scenery and restaurants. We had superb time in Kassel! I give my highest recommendation to the host, this place, and location!
