The view was absolutely stunning, and the easy access to the lake made our stay even better. The highlight, though, was the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day by the water. A peaceful and beautiful spot for sure!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. The cottage looks just as it does in the photos and had all the amenities of home. Definitely worth it!!

Had a great weekend getaway with family. Nice hill to go sliding with kids and adults. Kids had fun ski dooing. Beautiful place, spent a lot of time outside. Was snowing during our stay and the driveway and snow bank was plowed quickly. Great service! Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay at Little Fairbank Cottage! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the hot tub—it was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. The ping pong table was a hit too and made for some fun family tournaments. The lake is beautiful and peaceful, and the cottage has a great setup for enjoying both indoor and outdoor time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with some fun extras.

I booked the A Frame Cabin for my work crew while they were in Sudbury. They reported back that everything was great. The rooms were clean, and it was a nice get away during their off hours. Harveen was very responsive and accommodating. I would book with Harveen again and give her a 5-star rating. Thank you Harveen!

Corey’s place is an incredible find if your looking for a peaceful, scenic stay. It is very well equipped, clean with all amenities as described, maybe even a few extras. Check-in and out are simple and hosts are very responsive. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

We had a great stay at Journey's End! The lake is gorgeous and peaceful (looking out at it from the cottage you wouldn't even know there are other houses on it or that Sudbury is less than an hour away) and the perfect spot for a weekend away with friends (or family). Plenty of comfy beds, lots of counter and table space for food, games and activities, lots of watercraft available for use, a great fire pit, and plenty of parking spaces for multiple vehicles. We quickly felt at home and Debera was a great host! We hope to be back next year!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Denis' place. It's a beautiful and peaceful place with all the amenities you need. We had lots of fun using the kayak, paddleboat and canoe to explore the area by water. Book Denis' place with confidence.

Jeff and Lynn were great hosts. Their cabin is in a very accessible location, right off the highway but feels like you are in the middle of the wilderness. We experienced all kinds of weather while we stayed. One very nice day to enjoy by the lake (and fishing) , as well as one rainy day. The cabin has lots of board games and movies to keep you entertained during the rainy days. We enjoyed touring the town of temagami during the rainy day. There is a fairly new smokehouse restaurant that was amazing, definitely worth checking out. Well worth the money to enjoy their little get away, would visit again in a heart beat :)

We stayed at this place for a quiet weekend away form everyday hussle and bustle. Nice full house in a little village just, just off the highway. Very close to playground and walking trails. 5 min to Temagami with a few restaurants and stores. We would definately consider again for a relaxing time away.

We didn’t want to leave! It was so peaceful by the lake. The view from the big kitchen window was incredible. We used their kayaks quite a few times and immensely enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful views from the lake. The house was absolutely cozy and so clean! On a rainy day, we opened up the back garage door that was all set up to sit and enjoy the breeze and the views while sheltered from the rain! What a great surprise! We would definitely consider going back!

Jess and Mike’s place on Bear Island is the perfect place for a family get-away! We had a lovely week by the water and spent our days canoeing, paddle boarding, doing yoga on the dock, and hiking the nearby old growth forest trails in Temagami! On the rainy days we curled up and watched a movie in comfort. The cottage was clean and cozy and it was a bonus to have clean sheets, towels and a full cupboard in case we forgot anything! Thanks so much, Jess and Mike for sharing your piece of paradise! We hope to be back next summer!

Very scenic and private. Cottage is beautiful and the deck off the mater bedroom as an incredible view. Loved the outside deck areas and enjoyed sitting watching the scenic surroundings. If your looking for a quiet scenic getaway, I would highly recommend.

The cabin was a cozy place on the water with everything you needed. Great fishing!!! (even from the dock). Beautiful lake. Friendly and quick to respond hosts. Unforgettable experience. We enjoyed our stay!!!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

We had a great weekend at the cottage! It's a very clean and peaceful place. Lake is beautiful. Great for swimming.

Our stay at Graceland was wonderful. The cottage more than met our expectations. It was roomy and clean. The towels on the beds was a nice touch. The cottage had everything we needed to feel right at home. We loved that we were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. The water was warm and calm. Larry and Grace were wonderful hosts who would bend backwards to address our requests. Piece de resistance is when Larry took a bunch of us for a pontoon adventure and we got to see a larger, first-hand view of beautiful Lake Nipissing. All in all, it was an amazing weekends. We will be sure to book again!

There are 3 cabins on the property and we stayed at the Northern Oasis. Tasteful furniture and plenty of space, beautiful views from the master bed positioned at an upper level, lots of windows that make this place bright and a pleasure to look outside from the couch. You can also rent a really nice boat for fishing or just to have fun, kayaks or a canoe.

We had a wonderful family get together over the holidays. Host was very responsive. We were 18 of us (all couples) and there was ample room for all of us! The lodge is nice and spacious and sleeping quarters were a great set up! Amazing place for a large group, kitchen was well equipped. The place is showing it’s age and a few minor things we had to fix up but this did not affect our overall satisfaction. It was perfect for our needs and even exceeded our expectations! We made an ice rink on the lake near the dock and had a blast. We plan on renting this place again for sure in the future! Thumbs up all the way! We made some amazing memories!!

This was my fourth time visiting Standing Pines Lodge. We look forward to our trip every summer. It’s such a special place. We always have lots of fun out on the lake and it’s very relaxing to be unplugged for a few days. Linda is a fantastic hostess and always makes sure that we have everything we need to have a great stay. The cabins are very clean and comfortable as well. We are so grateful we found Standing Pines Lodge and look forward to our next visit!
